We had a fantastic week in Rhuddlan. There was plenty to do for adults and kids and the caravan we stayed in was fabulous. Would definitely reccomend to a freind, and are thinking of coming back again in the near future :)
The caravan park is absolutely beautiful! The site was extremely clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. My boyfriend and I stayed in a platinum caravan which was in excellent condition and very comfortable. The only problem with this site was that there wasn't really anything on the site, just a pub and a couple of slot machines for arcades. I wouldn't recommend this site if you do not drive as there isn't really anything close by but other than that the stay was lovely and we would definitely return.
Cheap and cheerful, got what we paid for and suited our needs for a base to sleep at whilst we visited family and walked in Snowdonia.
Slight moment of panic when we tried to book in as we weren't expected and no welcome pack was available. Having a number on the caravan would also aid finding it.
Don't let kids on the aging dragon slide as I've has to pick red and yellow fibre glass out of their clothes. (Not themselves luckily)
Caravan was immaculate the site is very clean and well maintained. We stayed the week before the season started so although the club house was open there wasn't any entertainment.... The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.... There is a premier inn at the bottom of the lane with a restaurant bar attached Kfc an American themed restaurant and an Indian restaurant next to it further up the road there is a hotel which you can go for a drink a number of takeaways Chinese restaurant, pub with restaurant attached and at least 3 tea rooms and an English chippy so no need to go hungry... All attractions are easy to get to by road or the buses run from the bottom of the lane about a 5 minute walk from the camp.
Accommodation was of extremely high standard, staff went above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay. Holiday park is down an industrial looking dirt track and not really in a great area but okay as a base for all the local attractions and Rhyl. Wouldn't recommend staying without a car or transport. Club house provided adequate entertainment and the park was okay for kids. Downside no leisure facilities such as pool etc and a little shop would have been helpful but overall a nice stay was had.
The caravan was lovely and clearly brand new. I almost cried with joy when I opened a door and found a second toilet in there. Wonderful and clean. Location was great and nice and quiet. We didn't bring a car but found it fairly easy to get about even with a stroppy two year old. Rhuddlan village is a short walk away with a Co-op and Spar. The bus stop to Rhyl is also a short walk. We would definitely stay again of we came to Rhyl.
The park it's self was absolutely beautiful , quiet and close to all shops etc the only down side was the caravan was very basic and not at all comfortable we paid for a silver caravan but we are sure it was a bronze the bed in the double room was very uncomfortable the mattress was very thin and we actually came home with bad backs
Really enjoyed our stay and the staff could not have been more helpful! In specific the main lady owner! It was great and caravan was great for a great price!
The caravan was absolutely disgusting,Allthe curtains were full of mold because of the damp, the bedding although clean(ish) was ancient, the carpet well were do I start it was FILTHY and this is at the start of the season,I know you get what you pay for but please don't put pictures of nice caravans advertising disgusting ones.
Great quite family park. We liked it that much we bought a caravan
Wonderful only complaint it did not have a camp shop village a good 10 minute walk for elderly people or people with walking difficulties
children enjoyed it good club good entertainment
caravan was fine but van was not clean ie dust
no towels in shower or no tea towels, I would of thought
this would have been there so we had to go and buy some.
Great short break. Only issue we had were noise from workmen early 2 mornings while we were trying to sleep. One time seemed to be chopping trees and the next day walking around caravan shouting to each other while they looked down drains next to the caravan we were in and next door.
Caravan was position right by the club and football pitch and was really loud until gone 2 in the morning.
