All breaks for all arrivals
Caravan was very small was expecting a bigger caravan have paid less money for a bigger caravan in the past as we always stay in caravans when holidaying in devon/cornwall
The caravan site is in a good location and close to the town. The staff were really helpful and took time to explain the locations close by having just moved into there new property with loads to do. Overall very enjoyable. Many thanks.
A super park if your after a quiet relaxing break, the beach and town are within a few minutes walk.
Our caravan was brand new and spotless.
Staff were friendly and polite. Site had no clubhouse. It did have a laundrete. Wi-Fi hit or Miss so a bit disappoiting really. As I have said caravan not up to much. I expected a bit more for money really. There were no complaints about dog, we were able to le ave her on own in van which was good, she is old so sleeps a lot. Westward ho is lovely for holidays and we were near Tesco so could get food cheap. Also near Sandymere(?) beach which is great for walking dog.
Photos on of caravan views have been altered on Photoshop. Our car got stuck in the mud, no help from staff at all.
caravan very clean and pet facilities very good
So easy to get around to places that both children and adults would enjoy. Friendly local people.
Great location , lovely clean caravan at great price would recommend if you want a quiet spot with no amenities.
what a fantastic park, right next to the northern burrows with sheep and horses grazing. a truly great park for a relaxing break.
Lovely park but the free wifi is very bad, you're lucky if you can connect. Apart from this the site and caravans were lovely.
This is a small friendly site, they made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Excellent for dogs, loads of places to walk, very close to beach and shops. I would recommend this site if your looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday. I shall definitely be going back!!!
Came here Easter weekend , throughly enjoyed
We arrived at park at 17.30, on arrival the office was shut and had to ring an emergency telephone number to get key, on literature emailed to us it said we had till 8pm to arrive, so we were annoyed about this, and on our departure we left the caravan at 9.45 only to find the office was closed again! so we didnt actually see any member of staff apart from a lady with a hoover who we gave the key to!The caravan itself was very clean and modern and we go to westward ho every year so we knew the surrounding area.
Fab break. Staff great.
I didn't have a good experience of this site. The caravans are very close together, just enough for a car between vans. I could see clearly what the man in the next caravan was watching on tv. We didn't go with children but usually do have our holidays with the children and I wouldn't take little ones here. The vans are all road front so it wouldn't be safe to let them play outside. Our caravan was number 10, not a spacious caravan, the cooker needs replacing, it took us one and a half hours to cook two chicken legs then ended up having to frying them. The bathroom is very small, smallest bathroom I have seen in a caravan. We had a bronze caravan, I assumed it meant that it was not so well equipped but in fact the caravan was most uncomfortable, the seating is well past its best. the doors were pealing the vaneers , the bedrooms to small to dress in, the heater in the bathroom didn't work, if the oven door was open no one could pass you in the kitchen area. On the upside the van was cleaned well. Its in one of the most beautiful places in Devon, a perfect seaside town. The site is known as a quiet site due to the fact its away from the town and only has a laundry on it. There is building work going on, not to bad as we were not close to where it was happening. I would not go back to this site, I think it would be good for surfers as your right by the sea. I would also say not disabled friendly. As a disabled traveller I found it very hard to get around.
