All breaks for all arrivals
accommodation was brilliant ,fishing lakes not very good as full of weed ,we left the camp to fish at some nearby lakes and caught some lovly fish
Although the lodge was very nice, spacious and facilities ok, we felt it needed a deep clean. There were lots of cobwebs around the windows and skirting boards which sadly let the lodge down.
The pool area was nice however the shower/locker/changing rooms were horrendous, there was mud all over the floor and this was not just a one off, it was each day. I understand people walking in with outdoor shoes on will have caused this but at no point was there a staff member cleaning it. For the size of the place, either more than one pool is needed, or a renovation to make the pool bigger, it was very chaotic and overcrowded.
We have a lovely and enjoyable time. The park was beautiful with plenty to do. We love how dog friendly it was. We will definitely be returning to the park next year
The log cabin was very nice ,plenty of room. The only downside to the location is the aircraft noise.
Nice lodge ,except the double bed, was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever sleeped in, location wasn't ideal next to the camping but we had a relaxing time .
On arrival we were presented with men erecting a new caravan next to ours so had to wait, the ones language was disgusting and we had three young children with us who are not used to hearing words like that.
Caravan ok but could have had a better clean,....
Not enough crockery for 6 people.
Club prices very expensive, over £4.00 for Guiness I only pay £3.30 at my local Golf Club.
Kids arcade a rip off too, pound a time then you loose money in machine.
On leaving the park and handing the keys in, the men who were swearing before
were taking a new caravan somewhere else pulling it by a tractor, once again the larger man with beard was swearing terribly and there were lots of people about aswell as staff. I commented on him to a member of staff who didnt even answer me. ..
I feel sorry for the person who has bought this new caravan as they dtopped it 3 times, and im afraid i wouldnt have been pleased..........
Not a good place for us will not recommend........................ce
Had a brill week with the kids . Everyone there was friendly and I would go back again
Terrible caravan, toilet seat broken, reported but not replaced, fridge smelt of fish, dirty and stained furnishing, I book at least 3 or 4 times a year with hoseasons and cannot believe they even have this accommodation on their website, if I was a first time customer I would never book with them again. Very bad for your reputation.
A lovely park with numerous lakes, ducks and geese on your doorstep! Lovely views from the upper bar over a lake and plenty to do in the area without having to go too far.
We would definitely visit again, however, we felt that the pool could have been bigger considering the size of the site (it was always full) as could the beach area, which is lovely for the children. Also, both of these facilities could do with longer opening times - the beach seems to close long before the sun disappears, which we thought was a shame.
The outdoor theatre is a great idea and seemed very popular. There are the usual entertainment evenings and amusement areas, also play areas. Again, there could have been a couple of play areas for the size of the camp but all in all we thought it was lovely.
The holiday park was in a lovely setting but it was spoiled by too many campers! It would have been nice to have some green space for children to play but this was used to cram as many tents on as possible!
The pool was lovely as were the spa facilities, although it was a bit of a bun fight in the mornings to try and get a swim as so many others also wanted to use the pool.
The staff were terrific but there wasn't enough of them. They could have done with an extra pair of hands first thing at the activity booking desk as the queue was out of the door. Also food from the bar was very slow in coming one evening although we were compensated for that.
Upstairs bar was a lovely place to relax but not open throughout the whole day unlike downstairs which was disgusting with dirty carpets, chairs and tables.
Activities were good although you had to get to reception early to book, a lot of people disappointed that activities sold out quickly, maybe more staff = more activities?
Caravan was as expected for the price we paid, cheap and cheerful. Pub next door was amazing, we went 3 times!!!! Would consider coming back at a quieter time of year.
Most uncomfortable dirty place we have ever stayed in....
This place is amazing!! We are definitely going back next year.
we had a brilliant week the kids had activities everyday they really enjoyed the jet ski experience the staff were fantastic and very helpful especially Becky who works in the bar if we needed to know anything she would go out of her way to help us if she could we will definitely be back next year
