This is absolutely the worst place ever, there is nothing to do unless you are aged between 0 and 10 the campsite has a really small clubhouse which needs a big update it was filthy and smelt of wet dogs. The onsite shop so over priced anybody would think we were wanting to buy shares in the place, be warned. The caravan itself so small upon entering that you could hardly move when coming in through main door, the space between the cooking area and the wall that separates the bedrooms is so narrow that you need to be slim to walk past and could not do so anyway if someone else is standing there cooking. The smoke alarms had no batteries just a piece of wire hanging down where the battery would have been, the carbon monoxide alarms did not function which is against health and safety and insurance rules putting peoples lives at risk. The cleaners card stated that 3 people had cleaned the caravan but it was still dirty upon entry. The beds are less than desirable they have like a plastic covering on them which makes them feel extremely cold and noisy. The people in the 2 caravans next to us were drinking alcohol all night and laughing and shouting right outside bedroom window so we could not sleep, when I complained the office said there was not much they could do. There is no table tennis, no golf, no tennis, no amusements no nothing. Such a dismal place! The shower room /bathroom was too small ok if your a midget or dead skinny. Come on people, wake up and smell the coffee, get decent sized modern vans not ones that are about 15+ years old, oh and the carpets looked like they had scene better days and really need replacing. The TV was a total joke, it was about 20inches could have been less, but with 3 of us we had to huddle round rather closely to watch anything and if you have slightly bad eyesight then watch out coz you wont see much unless you sit about a foot away, absolutely ridiculous. when we got to site it was tipping down with rain and before long the outside ground by entrance to caravan was water logged and became like reddish clay there was no where for us to wipe our feet as the existing mat outside was matted into the ground and had grass growing round the edges so could not wipe our feet there, when we got inside caravan the mat inside was plastic so no use at all, in the end we had soaking wet muddy floors and ended up dragging mud into lounge area so causing the already filthy warn carpet to be even more filthy, we did try to keep everything dry but with very little space in entrance area it was a challenge as the bathroom is next to entrance door which meant if you wanted to go to toilet you had to walk through the mud and wet to get to it. All in all its the worst place ever and will never visit again not even if it is given as a free holiday. We left after only two days of being there, we had booked for 4 nights. I couldn't wait to get home and back to decent living standards and above all peace and quite, We went to Tencreek with our teenage daughter and even she was not amused by the campsite, she also wanted to go home.
