All breaks for all arrivals
amazing holiday, can't fault this holiday park and its staff. The yellow coats were fab and made the holiday for the kids. Already booked for next year
I thought the site was run down and was disappointed in the facilities for children. The caravan we stayed in was appalling, it was filthy, the seating area all collapsed through when we sat down! the shower cubicle was filthy! There was a pair of dirty mens shorts screwed up under the single bed. There was no clothes drying rack, it was damp in the smaller bedroom. When i arrived home i was asked by a friend what the site was like as they had booked or was booking im not 100% sure but i actually told her my experience and she looked for somewhere else. I understand fully i asked for accommodation that i could take my dog to, however i was not made aware that i would be in such a awful caravan because of this (if this is the reason). My family and i have clean home and i would not expect to go on holiday and have to stay in anything less. We did not complain at the time due to be exhausted when we arrived after such a long journey and then we just decided to spend most of our days outside the caravan park. On the last day of our holiday we decided to have a day on the park as we had a long journey home, to our disappointment we went to the pool and again had a disappointing time there also. We was at the side of the pool getting our childrens armbands blown up and i turned round to see that my friends child had fallen in the pool and was quite literally drowning, whilst the lifeguard sat with her feet up gabbing on the telephone as she did the whole two hours we spent in the pool, i jumped in fully clothed and dragged him out. I totally respect that we are responsible for our children, however we would of like to have taken comfort in the fact that there was a lifeguard as we had four young children to watch all learning to swim, obviously after this happened that wasn't the case. The lifeguard did absolutely nothing apart from laugh and giggle on the telephone for two hours whilst there was a large family stood bombing into the pool ( might i add they were quite large people also) and did not move from taking over the whole middle of the pool and were being very dangerous around our small children, yet the lifeguard had done nothing. I holiday in Cornwall every year and this is the worst site i have ever stayed on.
O Unfortunately We did have a problem the cleaner
Cleared our van of all our belongings while we were staying there
Ok if you have small children . Drinks in Club house are very expensive . We only went there in our first night as we only used it for a base . Location is good lots of place to see .
Multi sports pitch was a good idea, the bar area needed updating and arcade games needed repairing. Entertainment staff were friendly and interacted well with the children.
It was lovely place to stay, are caravan felt a little damp and cold and this was early july, kids club seem a little boreing for kids not a lot on or things set out to do for them even know it was early in the morning before setting off for the day, evenings was fun for the children but it was the same games, music every evening for them, food in the club house was very nice.
caravan was more like 8 year old than the advertised two years old
mould in toilet up wall
rust in the microwave
repaired bed with screws sticking through wood
heater not working in bedroom
wrong size mattress on single bed had overlap
no tinstructions how to work heating
boy racers though the park at night
overall so disappointed left on wed night instead of saturday
We stayed Monday to Friday. We love looe and got this Park very cheap so thought we would give it a try. On arrival at or caravan we found paracetamol and a prescription drugs just sitting on the shelf, luckily I noticed it before my 3 year old son got to it. Took this to management who were very apologetic. The caravan and cutlery was dirty and was not cleaned to my expectations,I'm not a clean freak or one to right reviews but this needed to be said. I will not be returning to tencreek.
This is a lovely caravan park. Views of the sea and beautiful beaches close by to explore.
The kids loved the evening disco.
The swimming pool was nice and little play area.
The caravan was clean and had eveything we needed.
Great helpful and polite staff.
would love to visit tencreek again
Our static was very clean with great views and just a short walk to all facilities.
Would highly recommend this site as this is a great place to stay and visit lope
great location for accessing other towns etc, some beautiful places to visit everyday. on sight club a bit dated but kids seem to love it, however quite expensive. other facilities average, depends what your looking for, if your into bingo & eighties & nineties music you,ll enjoy it.
There is nothing to do in the day time apart from swimming there is no where to get a drink or lunch everything was closed every day until 5pm, The kids clubs was rubbish the same stuff every night for 1 hour
To be honest with you the staff could have made more of an effort with their guests. We used the clubhouse for the children's entertainment both in the morning and in the evenings. We attended twice in the morning and then didn't bother again as the children were given a piece of paper and colouring pens which don't work while the entertainment team sat on the stage away from them and had a chat! Now my daughter is only 2 and that does not occupy her for an hour and a half! In the evening games were played however the majority of the time was spent taking pictures of the mascots with the children being encouraged to post these on the website?? Disappointed is all I can say sorry.
Very clean site in a fantastic location close to town. Highly recommend.
