All you need to do is provide us with proof of the lower price you have been quoted by giving us evidence (including the telephone number or the details of the website where the price can be confirmed). We did not use any of the facilities. But the staff were very helpful when we booked in.
Great for us with a little one - soft play, swimming pool and swings - perfect!
This is a well maintained site, the pool was clean and the sauna was free! The shop is rarely open, however Asda is just down the road.
The Park is different to the ones we usually stay at, it's like a little village with mostly town houses, quite quaint really.A problem with some accommodation locations, is the distance from where you can park your car, so you could have a struggle carrying your luggage too & fro!Good location with St.Ives, Penzance & other places close by.
One thing we forgot to check before booking was that dogs were allowed.
When we arrived the bungalow had the smell of dog so we had to use an air freshener which fortunately we had brought our own.
The 3 piece suite was grubby and required a good clean and my wife suffered from flee bites the day we went home.
At least the bed was comfortable but this accommodation is certainly not a bungalow and we found having to go downstairs at night to the toilet most inconvenient. It also proved to be dark inside so we had to use the lights when we were in which was only later in the day.
Very clean and well equipped accommodation but so many are crammed in there is no privacy at all so we had to keep the curtains drawn all week. It's advertised as having a restaurant which was basically order food (hotdog, burger, pizza) at the bar so we had to go out for food each day.
We didn't like the building we stayed in. The accommodation lets the place down. There was a new kitchen that was great BUT a can opener that was like a bottle opener lethal to use and a potato peeler that wasn't sharp and didn't peel the potatoes. I don't think that when you go on holiday you should have to buy equipment.
The beds were not comfortable and the sheets and duvets did not fit the beds.
I know it is not expensive to stay at Tolroy but these small things really affect a stay.
The only reason I would not stay again. Was because of the noise of the traffic at night from the A30 .
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Couldn't knock it for the price :) it was clean and there was plenty to do in the surrounding areas
Great place to stay. Nice and quiet and ideal for toddlers and young children.
We stayed here whilst over for a wedding in St Ives. To be honest on first arrival we weren't given the accommodation we had booked and there weren't enough beds to suit our party. We found that we had been put in a compact unit which was very small for a party of 7! After speaking to reception who were very helpful, was told they'd had few problems with hoseasons bookings and offered us the accommodation we had booked. The accommodation overall is quite dated and we didn't have linen for some of the beds. Sadly won't be returning to this site. We did not use facilities but even just as a stop over this was pretty disappointing.
terrible location as you cant even have an evening walk to a local pub, it was signposted anywhere apart from outside at the entrance which in itself is an awfull place-on a corner tucked in that you cant see it on the road until your actually at it and its at a junction with another road, no sign if you approach it from the other direction of the road.
Swimming pool is far to small for a site that large, I was there with a total of 5 adults in pool and we couldn't all swim properly so we had to take it in turns to use the sauna to give others the space in pool, would be nice if there were some sun beds to dry off on as you have a large grass area that is unused, lighting was awfull as I had to walk all the way from the little car park all the way to the very last bungalow at the very bottom and there is only 1 main light and not everybodies little door lights were on to help,
We didnt spend much time on the site but the parts we did see were excellent. We had a bit of trouble working the oven but a member of staff came straight out to fix it.
Although it said shower or bath, we just thought we might not get a bath, but we had a bath with a rusty plughole and no proper shower, just hose on bath taps. We did tell reception about this, but it was an old bungalow which needed doing up. Other than that everything was OK and next time we'll try to book a newer property.
good value for money. excellent staff
