The caravan we were allocated was very run down. Wallpaper was peeling off walls and windows didn't have locks on them. We did take a dog so didn't expect the Ritz, but for the money we paid for 4 nights we were expecting more. The site was very clean and tidy. We don't have children so never tried the pool or entertainment but did eat breakfast in the club house one morning which was nice, if not a little overpriced but that's the norm for caravan sites. There wasn't a lot to do in the local area other then long walks along the beach. One pub next door, a coop and restaurant just down the road and that's really it without driving or getting a taxi. We made the best of what we had and enjoyed our self's but would not be going back. The night security guard and his dog were very friendly, always polite and willing to help.
I've been to lots of caravan holidays.at least 25years. The camp is nice. Parking though is horrendous. Not a lot on site for kids. Amusements in a tiny room and half time were not working and change machines empty. The day we arrived we went to restaurant, half what we Ordered was sold out. There is not a lot in the area to do so a car is a must.
I also went for silver caravan, usually we go bronze. Beds were meant to be made up and weren't and was very small caravan for up to 6. No room!!!
Apart from my small gripe it's a lovely area for walks, although hilly. But wouldn't advise with kids. They'd get easily bored.
Very nice park not to big
The caravans are so near to each other there is no privacy. We only stayed for a weekend and the site was ok for what we wanted but I would not go for a holiday.
Although this park is pet friendly people do not pick up the dog poo, the park was filthy and smelly as were the caravans. I had to buy bleach and clean thoroughly.
The ground around each caravan was undulating and therefore a quick wiz with the lawn mower doesn't work.
I realise the caravan park has recently been taken over by Park holidays...but I would recommend not to book here for at least another 2 years...it needs to be closed down, all the old vans got rid of and the ground turned over.
All the waste bins were full and smelly and were not emptied the week we stayed.
The caravan we booked was Classified as Silver, if you are going on holiday here and have just booked upgrade NOW...but it will still be smelly.
All the mattresses are very very old and lumpy, the furniture was faded and stained...disgusting and worst holiday ever.
We will NEVER go back.
We are pensioners and could not park the car outside the caravan, we had to park in the car park and carry everything through long grass full of DOG POO....
We had a lovely stay, staff at the park were very helpful and friendly,
Great location for site seeing. Site very well presented, and kept clean and tidy. Caravan was spotless and linen provided was crisp and clean. Staff were polite and extremely helpful. Children's entertainment was spot on, my little one absolutely loved it. Would definitely go back again.
Wasn't very clean and children's 'krazy krew' were awful
Nice weekend break. Caravan was lovely. Nice little campsite.
We had a fantastic time, thank you!
Lovely quite site. Ideal for visiting rhy a Hastings.
a lovely park
The car parking was dreadful. There were too many cars for the size of the car park, and if you were lucky enough to get a space, it was a nightmare to get into it and out of it. You couldn't park at the side of you van either, and where out van was, we couldn't sit outside because we were only about 3 feet from the from of the parked cars.
We had a warm week and had to have to door open, and felt a bit like fish in a gols fish bowl as people parking and traversing the car park looked straight into our van.
Holiday park was nice the food court in the holiday village was rubbish waited 45 minutes for dinner and when it did turn up my wife's dinner was over cooked in microwave! And my dinner was so cold it had to go back 3 times
