ABSOLUTE HIDDEN GEM, THE "B" ROAD IS NARROW BUT IS PASSABLE WITH ONCOMING VEHICLES S ALSO NOT A DIRT TRACK. THE OWNER AND STAFF WERE VERY WELCOMING AND HELPFUL AND GREAT TO TALK TOO. IF YOUR WANT SOLITUDE THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY. PLENTY OF WIDLIFE TO WATCH, IF YOU REQUIRE ONSITE ENTERTAINMENT OR NIGHTCLUB FACILTIES THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO STAY.
Angecroft Park was very quiet but was just what we were looking for, Had a fab time there and would definitely return
This is a great location for scenic beauty and quiet pleace, bear in mind it's 20 miles from the nearest town of any note!
Great little remote park for a get away from it all break. Excellent location for walking and outdoors pursuits but winter access could prove an issue. We left early as we were concerned that any ice/snow may be a major problem on a B-track access road.
Great place and wonderful value for money. Went with teenagers who enjoyed the area despite lack of mobile service. Beautiful area nice base to explore from.
Myself and my bestfriend stayed at Angecroft Park early this month as a break away for our busy lifestyles. The side owners was very abrupt with the way they spoke to you and wasn't very helpful in the slightest!!
The Friday we arrived at the Park we was very tired after traveling all the way from the North and we decided to get a shower, they didn't have any towels, role or a iron for our clothing. The log cabin it's self was extremely dusty and durty. The flooring throughout the cabin had big duty patches etc!!
It total we didn't have a nice experience and we definitely won't go back EVER again.
Ideal place to visit if you enjoy walking...but in the summer! Very isolated...
nice and peaceful
This was our 4th visit to Angecroft and again we had a briliant time. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the ideal place. We take dogs everytime and have had no problems but it would be very helpful to have an outdoor shower area for the dogs as ensuring the floor doesn't get dirty involves us covering the floor with blankets. Also be very careful as the decking around the cabins is very very slippery and at least one person has a fall each time we visit. Overall, I would highly recommend this park.
We had a really good break. This is ideal for people who want a break away from everything for a few days. Steve was very accommodating and friendly. I really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely lodge set in the beautiful Scottish countryside. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommended for a tranquil break. Go well stocked though as nearest town is a fair drive away.
Steve is one of the nicest, most helpful people we have ever met. Nothing was too much trouble and he takes the time to explain everything of interest in the area when you arrive. 5* hospitality from a top bloke! Location of the park is stunning, the site itself is beautiful and if you are looking fir total relaxation, then this is the place to go. Although would recommend staying in a caravan with heating rather than the log cabins.
Angecroft is the most remote but beautiful place to stay. Shops are far out but walks and views are plentiful. The best relaxing holiday we've ever had!!!
We found the site rather remote (a 15 mile drive).
A lovely area and place to stay, nice and serene. Only down side is distance from the next main town makes it bad if u don't drive but we have stayed before and would happily stay again. A lovely place with lovely staff
