Real reviews, from customers like you.
Had never been in a log cabin before! Was so peaceful and the owners had really thought about everything. So many little touches and helpful things which made our stay there even better! View was beautiful, interior also and everything you needed for self catering was there. They even provided little things like cloths, towels, soap, tea and coffee etc was only a short stay so the only negatives were that we would have liked to have stayed for longer.
Only criticism is that access to the site is awkward
Great relaxing place.
A very in joy able stay **** excellent lodge very clean and up to date furniture . Hope to return in the near future and a longer stay .
Great week nice lodge nice area
The lodges are lovely it is very quiet and peaceful , the information regarding the fishing lake and waterfall is misleading there is no access to this at all from the lodge site, it appeared to be private property! So disappointed that there was no where for a little walk ,the trees are so grown now that you carnt even see the lake now. A nice base if you want to venture out lots to see and do in the surrounding area .
The lodge was set in lovely surroundings, very quiet park, no other facilities, such as shop, but supermarkets close by, and lots of places to visit,
Could not walk round lake as fenced off,
LOVELY QUITE SITE PLENTY OF PLACES TO SEE AND VISIT ALL IN ALL A VERY RELAXING HOLIDAY
The lodge was well equipped and very comfortable. We were not very happy that we were not allowed on the grassed areas and the lakes were also out of bounds. Also the Falls themselves were down the lane from the park, and on private land. We also found the remote control gates up a steep slope, very difficult, as disabled pensioners, to negotiate. But apart from these minor problems, it was a lovely peaceful park in a beautiful setting.
Could do with a mirror opposite the gate to help you drive out safely. The waterfalls are very overrated on the website. You can't access them and can barely see them from the road.
The lady who manages the site was so rude. She entered inside our lodge without permission!!
A somewhat idyllic setting in a very peaceful wooded area, but strangely there is a noticeable lack of wildlife. The let privately owned, with no staff on site does mean you do not get to see anyone, as you collect your key from a "key safe" outside the property. There are no on site facilities, all in all a quite relaxing venue.
Once you enter through the large gates, you are on your own. No reception.
Had a lovely holiday the cabin was lovely nice and quiet nice and handy to get to see places around like Bridgnorth etc, felt quite safe and secure
Although there are no facilities on site, this made no difference to our stay as we were aware and quite content to live in peace and quiet.
