Only one thing maybe buy new settees as the ones in Cedar caused myself and my husband to have bad backs. Brilliant holiday

Second time returning. First time we stayed in an elite 2 lodge (Hazel) which was lovely, warm, clean and very homely. We stayed for a long weekend and booked up again to come back in Feb-March 2015.
On arrival to reception I was greeted by a lovely young lady who was very polite and very helpful, you do not get this at most places!
We was given our key, this time for an elite 1 lodge. On arrival to the lodge the heating had been on which really impressed me! Nothing worse than walking into a freezing cold accommodation!
Reading through the visitors book, and some people really did leave silly comments, like how the site was smelly (Well frick me it is a working farm!!!!) or the amount of flies! I mean C'mon don't go on holiday on a working farm if you do not want to smell the smell of the country!!
It did not bother me in the slightest. The farm was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We had a little visit from the farm dog, who was a lovely little doggy!! Yes he did bark at the doors for a few moments, but think he could smell our dinner. Lovely temperament.
The elite 1 lodge, was a little bit small, but it is only for two people really! Bathroom was a little bit cold, and the water in the shower didn't seem to get very hot. The sauna.... Well it kept tripping the trip switches! So we didn't actually get to use the sauna. Although this did not bother us, it may have bothered some one who would of liked to use the sauna.
Apart from the Sauna not working, it was a fantastic break, and I look forward to coming back again for the 3rd time!!

Location & surroundings
Helpfulness of staff
Very worn out and outdated decor and furnishing, curtains hanging half off the rails etc. We booked for 4 adults but only had towels for 2 (lucky we'd brought our own). A great location if you want to literally get away from it all, not within walking distance of any pubs or shops as far as we were able to see. Lovely little villages within. Short drive though.

Looking forward to next years holiday there
Fantastic relaxing break just what we wanted. Sauna, and Hot Tub was great.came away as new people. Thank you.
We really enjoyed the accommodation and beautiful surroundings.
We wanted a peaceful retreat for the weekend but also things to do for our 10 years old son. .ideal for us!

Our 2nd visit and lovely quiet location kids loved the hot tub ideal for our dog. All round good holiday
Confirmed guest, 2015-10-23
I think the site should have 'dog poo bins' and although enjoyed the peace and quiet it would be great to have a pub/restaurant within walking distance. Only other criticism was the sofas - very low backs which makes uncomfortable seating. Overall a great stay and would definitely come again
We had a girly weekend for a bday and it was lovely ,very clean and tidy cabin hot tub went down very well , We will defiantly be going again xx

This a lovely rural location but a little too rural.
There is a need to go off sure everyday and at least an hour drive to most places.

Lovely stay for 5 days in September. Staff were incredibly friendly and the cabin was spotless and fully equipped. Hot tub was a lovely addition. We visited Banham Zoo and Framlingham Castle which are both quite close with a car and it was a very pleasant week.
