Shame the storage heaters were not working correctly on arrival, fortunately the staff had added convectional heaters to the house to ensure it was warm. Otherwise a nice house.

The cottage was exceptional value but we did get a hefty discount due to the time of year. However we were amazed at the level of cleanliness - it was absolutely immaculate.

Overall the accommodation was ok but smelled as though someone had been smoking in it. The accommodation we had was immediately behind the leisure centre and the extractor fan from it was going all day and very noisy. Could also hear the noise from the instructors giving lessons in the centre which at 7 in the morning was very annoying. Would only go back here if I was sure the accommodation was well away from the leisure centre.

This was our second stay. We had a 4 bed this time round with our growing family. It was comfortable and there was so much space. Unfortunately the lodge itself was getting a little shabby round the edges, the Juliet balcony in the master had a rusted door obviously has had water leaking in. The coating on the kitchen cupboards had started to lift and generally looked a bit tired. It was all clean though. Lots of parking right outside. 8am-8pm soft play was fantastic for our 3 year old on the rainy days and the outdoor play area was great too. We went in the main pool which was fab, unfortunately though our last day 4pm ish we were told we could only use the thin strip in the main pool as there were lessons, and then we were budged over again by someone who told us they were doing a charity swim (only swam about 400m so I was puzzled at that) so we had a very very small strip, a couple of other families felt too uncomfortable and left. Maybe a timetable of when the pool is in use in the welcome packs would be good, it does say to contact them first but a week to week print off would be easier to plan round.
