Lovely park, very clean and tidy. Lodge well equipped and modern, comfy beds! Close to a1 but had no problem with noise in lodge. Would return.
We had a wonderful stay for 4 days in late April. It is a very well kept park that is quiet and peaceful. The lodge was comfortable and well equipped (one small niggle - some new cushions in the lounge would not go amiss!). I daresay our stay was helped by great weather ad lovely sunshine but the park is in a good location for getting around to many places of interest. The staff were friendly and very helpful and overall we would not hesitate to return.
Our holiday was great we love Northumberland but I would not return to bockenfield park. When we got home we received an email on a Sunday evening at 9:30 pm informing me that I would be billed for a faulty cooker and all the towels which we did not take.If you go there have plenty or evident of how you left the lodge or face being ripped off too.
Park was nice and quiet, what we were looking for. Well located. Near the road as we had been warned but not too noisy. .
Lovely Christmas break.
we would defently return, and spend christmas there again if we could have the same lodge, or very close to it.
The Thirston is an excellent lodge.
The Felton was much bigger than expected with lots of storage space
The staff especially Emily were very helpful. The site is close to the A1 and was beneficial as this gave easy access to the places we wished to visit. We were not bothered by the traffic noise though I can imagine some people would be bothered by it. The facilities in the lodge were very good. It was cosy and clean. We would definitely go there again.
A lovely clean well maintained site. The big down fall is the very noisey A1 and 9 mile drive to the nearest shop.
The lodge was not very clean, after a quick clean we were able to relax and enjoy our holiday.
Nice Lodge and quite comfortable. Our only problem was finding places to eat.
An ideal sight for just the two of us who like to please ourselves and use our holiday accommodation as a base.
Lovely surroundings, caravan was spotlessly clean. There were a few cooking items missing such as a frying pan. There were no staff on site to assist with any problems or queries.
