Lovely quiet location .With plenty of local attractions.
Lovely peaceful place with lots to do with the kids nearby.
Lovely well kept property. Owners were helpful. Left welcome gift for our arrival and had heated the property for us.
Nice break, very peaceful and relaxing. Central location, walks from the door and location also borders Sheringham Park and National Trust walks. Welcoming owners who were flexible about arrival times. Lodge based in Weybourne Forest (although the owners of Weybourne Lodges) are very precious about you not using their on site facilities or pathways). Can walk down to the Poppy Line to board the North Norfolk Railway to Holt and Sheringham. Plenty of other attractions nearby. We had a great time away.
An ideal holiday for us and our dog great woodland walks, a steam railway close enough to take photos from the walks.
The sea is close with a shingle beach and car park.
Holt is has a nice range of shops and the small supermarket sells good local produce.
could fo with a little shop so you able to escentials
We didn't have the use of staff so cannot rate, however, owner was helpful when I called with a problem. The location is perfect for walks, wildlife, and peace and quiet.
Lovely venue Did not have to get in the car to go on walks.
Easy walking in forest and local country parks. Great for wildlife. Weybourne Park also had some horses, pigs, sheep ducks and chickens as pets. Accessible to all our needs for our holiday. Very Dog friendly at the park and also the local towns and in shops, but be aware after 1st May when restrictions on beaches come in. Found Norfolk locals extremely friendly, compared to Surrey.
Lovely setting. It was however very clear the owners of Weybourne Forest Lodges are unhappy about Owls retreat and Bracken Lodge being rented out. They have do not let you have access to the walks in their forest.
A superb 'loghouse' we told our young grandchildren, a magical place to stay. Collected a huge pile of pinecones by the end of the week and loved walking through the 'magic forest' to Sheringham Park. We could hear 'Thomas' the steam engine whistling watched the squirrels playing. They loved it! Will be back.
