The lodge is in a really nice location, but quite remote, it about a mile up a farm track and a reasonable way from shops, restaurants etc but only a few minutes by car.
Lodge was very tired looking needs complete refurbishment. Holes in sofa lumpy carpet. Lovely surroundings although too remote for a family with a baby. Also gas/electric was very expensive.
Suitable for fishermen but wouldn't advertise for young families.
not worth the money. it certainly wasn't VIP
Didnt see staff much couldnt tell where ''reception'' was
Beautifull place lovely people but be aware of the cost of gas
booked for 4 nights was sad we had to return home after 2 nights coz of family problems , everything there was great , would love to stay again some time
Really shocked at how much we were charged for three days gas underfloor heating was really bad couldn't tell it was on needs more cooking ades in kitchen not even a jug to make gravy, rooms were really dark even with lights on need stronger bulbs , doormat was outside od lodge and was wet though had to use one of my dogs towells to wipe r shoes on , needed thicker quilts on beds not thick enough for that time of year
Fantastic place with great fishing Carol & Kevin the owners cant be any more friendly or helpful.
Great chill out if you like fishing or want to get the kids into fishing (you can hire tackle)
We had an absolutely brilliant time at such a beautiful location. The staff were lovely and helpful and the cabin was perfect. We will definitely return again.
Good location and hubby enjoyed the fishing lake.
Quiet location with both beaches and woodland areas for walking 9especially for dogs!)
We took our evening meals pre-prepared so no worries about closeness to eateries- though there are plenty a short car ride away.
Lovely place and wonderful staff. Will definitely be returning again in the summer. Xxx
Been here three years running really enjoy the relaxation!
This was our third stay at Bron Eifion Lodges. As my husband and I both enjoy fishing this is a brilliant venue for us. As my 81 year old mother lives with us she is able to stay at Bron Eifion and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The peace and tranquility of this site is perfect for a quiet and restful break. As the lodges are set right along the lake side this is a lovely spot to simply rest and enjoy the peace even for those who do not fish. Bron Eifion is also a good base for walkers and those wishing to further explore the Snowdonia National Park or simply relax on nearby Criccieth beach. Would highly recommend.
We booked a wheelchair accessible lodge cause our lad (36 years old) is wheelchair bound. We should learn our lesson cause "accessible" rarely means they can get around all the accommodation. We had to carry our lad into the toilet cause the bathroom is no way accessible. We also had to carry him into bed cause we could not get the w/chair near enough. We would book the bigger Teigle lodge next time but the accessible descriptions you do should be more specific. The ramp was also in need of repair. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location great and the potential of the site is good. Lodge looked tired, needs a new suite and carpet. Would go back to the site though
