Great little place, not much around if you want to go to resteraunts/pubs but has nice golf course 5min walk which does serve food. Great if you like walking and scenery great local attractions, Culzean Castle are a drive away.
Great gym & pool and the cottages are of a high standard.
Lack of signage outside on the main road is the only negative here. Theres a sign for the golf course but not the actual holiday park. Staff, location, pool, accommodation, facilities, welcome pack.....are all excellent and our two girls loved every minute of the stay. We will definitely be returning at some point. Couldn't fault it.
Had a great relaxing time, lodges more that adequate and swimming pool on site was great used it every day for prob hr and half.
The only negative point is the bad condition of the roads surrounding the estate, but that's not up to the estate itself to improve them!
Excellent accommodation and nice setting. Very disappointing that no BBQs were allowed!!! When we go on holiday we usually BBQ every second night and don't understand this at all?? The pool was nice and clean when we arrived but over the week it got pretty disgusting with balls of slimy hair all through the water...Only cleaning the pool once a week is disgusting!!
Very enjoyable holiday and excellent base to explore local area. Leisure facilities were good but it would have been helpful to understand the restrictions on under 16s using the facility before booking.
The majority of our stay was spent off site visiting sites at least ten miles away.
Great quiet location, however, it didn't excite my sport driven children (10 & 12).
Excellent accomodation, staff were very helpful especially in assisting us with providing times/what stations to use to get ot the Commonwealth games.
The package provided within the accomodation was extremely useful.
I just wish we had more time to spend there.
On first arrival the signage is unclear - we ended up down by the golf clubhouse - and the road in does of ocurse need resurfacing.
location a little remote from area we wanted to visit
local footpaths overgrown
pool good but disappointed 14 yr old not allowed in gym.
we had a great time the site at Brunston castle was good with lovely views and lots to do
Staff very helpfull and friendly enjoyed our stay very much and will go back again. Location excellent.
beautiful lodge well kept,lovely site
Staff were all very nice in person, the low score is due to a call received from reception on second last day telling me we had to come back to the resort as we were due out our lodge. I did say I was sure it was a mon to fri break but lady said on theyre system I was due out that day, thurs, and as I was late Leaving we would possible be charged for a full night even if we did leave straight away. We were out for the day and this ruined our morning, especially for my 3 year old daughter who didn't want to go home yet! I did get access to my email and had confirmation it was 4 nights. This situation was not handled well at all. The person who called me hadn't even checked with reservations.
Excellent location with good facilities that will enhanced once the club house is opened.
