Excellent Holiday from accomodation to location
Fantastic location and comfortable well equipped holiday homes. Staff were wonderful and local golf club food superb!
Nice and peaceful when we were there, views and surrounding area very nice, staff couldn't be more helpful, facilities good but limited, tremendous value meals at the golf club, already booked a return trip.
had a lovely stay and hope to go back
poor and dated accomadation not value for money
Very peaceful resort with very helpful and pleasant staff. The grounds and gardens were very well presented.
There is no bar or food available at the resort although Dine at the Brunston Golf Club which is only 2 minutes walk away serves very good food at reasonable prices. We found the staff here very friendly and helpful too. I guess if your nice to staff they are nice to you.
The onsite swimming pool is of a good size with a sauna but no steam room or jacuzzi which would have been nice. The pool is unmanned. Usual tiny changing cubicles but ok. In the games room you'll find a pool table and table tennis with some Lego and connect 4. The lounge has wifi and is a nice relaxing place to chill but a few more seats would help and if there was a bar/cafe onsite, perhaps it would have helped with the atmosphere.
Outside there is a 9 hole putting green and the usual kids swings, climbing frame etc.
Overall, not bad. Plenty potential, but could be so much better.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night family break at Brunston Castle and we would definately return some time in the future.
Great wee holiday
The holiday was great but some the furniture in the lodge could have done with been different. Some stuff wants practical for young children and my husband split his forehead cause the layout. Also my 14month old had a bit of glass in her hand that we later found out was off the floor lamp.
Nice n relaxing
A very well ran park with great staff who couldnt do enough.
Nice lodge, would advise the site requires more for children to keep them amused and would benefit if park had club house for adults, and should change the double beds to King size or super king reason my hight is 6 feet 5, but all in all was value for what I paid for break, would stay again
Helpful friendly staff, great base for exploring the area, loved the pool and games room
Family of 5, the lodges were great quality, with enough space for us and the kids, cooking facilities were adequate. Swimming pool was fine and was quiet when we visited. A car is essential as the lodges are quite a bit away from any major towns. Staff were helpful and provided the correct information when asked.
Child ages 14, 10 and 5.
We had a great weeks stay! The accommodation on the whole was excellent, it was very clean but could do with some refurbishment on carpets and bedroom furniture, but these were only minor in the scheme of things as the price we paid was so fantastic and the staff and pool really great that the things in the chalet were easily forgotten about!
