I will be staying here again. What a beautiful place and it was exactly how the pictures showed it.
Had a lovely time staff very helpful . Park was a little quiet due to the time of year but could not fault our stay .
Ideal for a peaceful relaxing break
Great holiday, beautiful and quiet location. Only downfall was missing a shop, or supermarket within walking distance.
No sign of staff when we arrived a mobile number was left but we had tried to ring early to see if cottage was ready but no contact with actual site. Sits manager arrived after a 10 minute wait. Acknowledge it is winter so would hope for better during high season
Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay during the Christmas period. Thankyou
i loved the hot tub but had to actually clean the oven and grill and all the pots before i could do anything as the place smelt of stale fish which we worked out to be the 3 inch thick of fat and grime on the grill also cobwebs everywhere.
The only thing I wish was the swimming pool had changing facilities, the toilet is outside and freezing!
The location suited us, it would have been better if the swimming pool had a changing room.
Loved it. The lodge has everything we needed.
Very comfee and warm. Had everything we would need.
The hot tub was divine. A little more space around the beds and better Car park space would be great. But am just nit picking.
Book it. It was bliss x
We stayed at Colwell Bay for 5 days at the end of December. The price we paid was fantastic considering what we got for our money. We all had a wonderful time, the swimming pool was perfect for our young children, it was lovely & warm both in & out of the water & we were enormously happy with the Cottage itself. The near by Beach although closed for the time of year looked really nice & we will certainly look to book again for the summer time. Colwell Bay is just a short distance from local shops, pubs & take aways & not far at all from Allum Bay & a numer of beaches.
Had a fantastic stay as always at Colwell Bay. Peace and quiet and lots of walks. Kids enjoyed the pool as did I enjoy them going on their and giving me some space. Clean grounds. Friendly unobtrusive staff. Bliss.
Lovely Xmas holidaymakers want to come back.
Friendly staff, clean and tidy site.
We love to visit the IOW. Although Colwell Bay is off the beaten track the loction is ideal for a stress free break.
