Spent the Easter holidays here with my family and would definitely stay again. We stayed in the Delny Highland Lodge and it has everything you could possibly need.
Set in beautiful surroundings, it was great for my young family with horse riding, fishing and great walks.
The owners were very nice and nothing was too much trouble.
The Old Dutch Barn was really nice and the food was very good.
My family of 5, including 3 teenagers had a fantastic holiday at this beautiful park. Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us, and were always on hand with advice, directions, etc. The settings are amazing and my kids loved that the animals were close by, especially Kevin the goose, who entertained them continually. It's worth noting that the hi fi worked fine and we got a great reception. Would love to go back again. Would deffo recommend and already have to several friends. Loved, loved, loved it......
A fab wee holiday - one I have already recommended to a friend and one we hope to repeat ourselves in the future.
Great holiday at the lodge, and good little restraunt/bar on site. Good location for exploring as there is plenty places to go that are not too far.
Really happy with our stay, perfect county getaway. Quiet and peaceful surrounded by nature. Is what we were looking for.
The people who run it were really friendly too. Will book with them again. Very happy :)
We had a wonderful restful break with our two boys (ages 18mths and 11yrs) the surroundings are stunning, the park well set up and the lodges were clean, well equips and comfortable. The added bonuses of a play park and unlimited wifi suited our kids perfectly! The staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed dinner at the old Dutch Barn several times which was great. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!
Comfortable attractive accommodation in pleasant surroundings, with friendly helpful owners.
We had a fantastic time. The lodge we stayed in was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We used the lodge as a base for exploration and it suited our purposes well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for 5 star fancy accommodation then don't go there. However, if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay with everything you require to have a brilliant time, then look no further.
we went out of season so it is quite difficult to give a fair review but we did have a lovely quiet peaceful weekend & took our bearded collie kyla on long walks which she absolutely relished......would like to go back during the season sometime.
This is a lovely place to stay with scenic surroundings.
The immediate surroundings of the lodge was beautiful. The only downside was that Scotland closes in the winter a fact we weren't aware of when we booked so there was no where inside to visit and keep warm. A must in February half term.
Everything we needed was on hand and the lodge was warm and welcoming. The bottle of wine and fresh flowers added to the warm welcome.
We went during xmas/new year. The area was well maintained and cleaned. However, at times the park was very icy. No grit/salt was put down on either the steps leading upto the chalet or the car parking area which made it dangerous at times. Anyone with reduced mobility would struggle in these conditions.
Lodges were very out dated for the amount of money we spent, rooms were not cleaned properley, bathroom not clean, chips under beds,we stayed two weeks and never even got offered clean sheets, nothing there for kids, lights were out at bottom of steps so u could not c a thing if u went out kids nearly broke there neck,so it would b ok if u was retired and wanting to do nothing at all apart from sit, nearest proper shop is Inverness 26miles away
Great place for families or couples, local amentities few minutes drive away. Lovely place
