Very relaxing and quiet park. Accommodation was a very high standard and quality well worth the upgrade to platinum. Perfect for that getaway to recharge your batteries.
Minor gripe was as there was no on site shop, so if you needed anything it was a 15 min drive to the nearest mini supermarket (Co op). The other issue was the WiFi which stated was free, but the speed was too poor to stream Netflix or YouTube without buffering. Paying the additional fee for a week of premium wifi (max 5mb) you expect better, but wifi coverage was unavailable in the lodge and was for one user at a time only. Multiple calls to the WiFi support team over several days did not resolve the issue in the week we were there. Although very frustrating, it did not stop us having a great time at the park.

The holiday home was lovely and very well equipped, we did have to repair the sun blinds to the patio doors on our first day as these were not working correctly.

Lovely park for peace and quiet but as I've said above, this should not be advertised as a lodge as it is most definitely a caravan!

The lodge was really well appointed and comfortable and the only reason I didn't give it 10 was a) the shower was so tight that none of us arthritic elderlies could turn it on (thanks to our maintenance man it was sorted) and b) we had a bleep going off which we assumed to be either the smoke alarm or the CO detector - again, thanks to the maintenance man we discovered it was the dishwasher (which we hadn't used) telling us to turn it off!

2 lodges overlooking
As a family we had booked 4 chalets with the label Platinum. Two of those where fantastic but number 3 was very old fashioned and had no dishwasher and number 4 was definitely not in good nick and also without dishwasher.
So make sure you go for the more modern chalet with decent garden furniture.
The park itself is beautiful and the staff is very nice. Swimming pool very small but keep fit apparatus where also fantastic.

Beautiful location and the lodge was extremely comfortable with all mod cons. For some reason there was a damp patch inside, which was there the last time we came and we had thought the cleaner had spilt a bucket of water! The central heating and showers all worked really well and towels were provided.
The downside of this particular site is the lack of amenities. There is no onsite shop - which would be VERY handy given there are no cleaning products or supplies - just a VERY small sample of washing liquid in a very small welcome box. The first thing you need to do is find a supermarket after arrival, which given you are not allowed into the accommodation until 4pm makes things a bit hectic.
Also, this site is advertised as having fitness facilities, which really is quite pathetic because it consists of one small room with one treadmill, one rower and a few weights machines. It would be crowded with more than two people - so absolutely hopeless in high season.

Th accomodation is good value for money. Some of the furniture and decor needs updating (bed was a bit uncomfortable and the sofa was losing it's filling). Overall all though for the price it is of a good standard.

The quality of the accommodation was outstanding and much better than expected. It was lodge style with outside decking around. The rooms were all of good size and the kitchen was fully equipped with everyone you would need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. There were two shower/bathrooms of good size and plenty of storage space. This was so much better than the mobile homes I have stayed in years ago. There were two tvs - on in the lounge and one in the bedroom, both with good reception. I would thoroughly recommend. We stayed as a couple and there was more than enough space but a family could feel a bit "cosy", especially if they were kept inside because of bad weather.
