We had a brilliant holiday. Would definitely stay again.
I think a lifeguard is needed in the indoor pool & better changing/shower facilities needed!
Outdoor activities were very good!
Lodge was comfortable & clean, staff were very helpful & friendly. Wouldn't stay again as couldn't walk down to the beach or town & we had to keep using our car...
Nice park average facilities
Spent a wonderful week at Golden Coast. . The children had lots to do in safe and well staffed surroundings. We all lokk forward to our next visit. Many thanks.
Reception staff unhelpful. Ask twice for some batteries for the television remote and an oven shelf as we did not have one. They did not arrive.
We weren't given bands to wear when we checked in & when I asked if our friends were next to us. The girl told me I would have to pay £20.00. This wasn't advised to us when we booked on the telephone.
We didn't use the facilities, but what we saw looked good.
great facilities however was very disappionted to have paid alot for extra facilities and then to find a charge for most activities. I accept a small charge but We felt that 10 and £20 for single activities when you have more than one child was well beond "pocket money " prices. However The site was clean and well laid out.
We would not return to this site again. To pay more to get the facilities but then for them to be so expensive you cant use then defeated the object of being at that site
The bungalow was not very clean, the fridge/freezer didn't work on day of arrival , the cooker didn't work properly, there was something wrong with the shower and to top it off my husband fell through a dining chair which then turned out that we had to have a few dining chairs removed from the property as they were not safe. The beds were very uncomfortable. We also felt that there was not enough staff on site to manage the people staying, the highlight of the week was my son doing the body board session in the wave machine for 6 ad 7 year olds.
Kids loved all facilities - 16, 8 and 3. Good news for adults everyone happy.
beds were far too hard.only complaint we had everything was spot on.
The surroundings are fantastic however do not be misled in thinking the resort is right next to the beach. It is a short drive or a very long walk. Parking is difficult in Woolacombe and very expensive!
The resort is very expensive and virtually of the facilities have to be paid for. This is not a cheap holiday!
Location brilliant loads of activities for children of all ages ours ranged fro 11yrs to 1yrs. Everyone enjoyed themselves
Nowhere near enough staff to cater for the vast amount of people. The staff were young and inexperienced and simply could not cope which resulted in long waits in getting served. More seriously whilst waiting for food in your "bistro" we watched a young girl testing microwaved food by inserting a thermometer into different dishes without once cleaning it. Had we been food inspectors your resort would have been closed down!!!!
