Always top notch.
Staff were friendly and very helpful
Lodges are lovely, warm and welcoming when we arrived. Staff are friendly and the location to the seaside resorts is good. Would love to go back again, very peaceful.
A very relaxing location, I thought the clay shooting might disturb the peace. But proved wrong. A co-op food store is at the entrance to the site, it stocks all the essentials and more. Also a lovely coffee shop. Very welcoming ladies on reception. Lovely coastal resorts to visit.
If you are looking for privacy and just to chill out this place is perfect
Absolutely loved it!! Was a lovely little weekend get away! Will definitely be returning.
We had a great time at High Lodge. We are not sporty(!) people so the shooting and golf are not for us. However. we thoroughly enjoy photography so the wildlife was amazing and the fishing was added bonus. It was so relaxing and not far to travel to the sea and attractions.
Very good value for money, very relaxing, all good apart from a stag party that turned up and turned it into a very loud and noisey weekend. complained to staff and they had words with the boys, but as there is no permanent management on site after hours the noise continued again in the evenings
Great for a relaxing break. Accommodation ("waters edge" for 2 with a hot tub) was excellent - well equipped, comfortable and clean. Nice quiet setting and good location being close to Southwold and Aldeburgh. Would recommend it.
We have been to high lodge 4 time and each time it was brilliant.
very pleasant surroundings
Lodges very remote No phone signal No wifi Sound of gun fire all day. Every one on site goes home at 17.00hrs leaving you with nothing to do in the evening. Heating would not come on until 18.00hrs leaving the lodge chilly some days.
Some of the lodges had nicer locations than others, Robin is too close to the circular road round the lodges and doesn't therefore have nice view from bedroom or kitchen.
A very pleasant stay at High Lodge once again, this is truly a little gem of a place to relax and unwind.
We had a lovely time, so peaceful & relaxing
