Plenty of places to visit and good food in the restaurant.
Accomodation was great spacious and very clean we had a lovely weekend and would definatly go back
I and the rest of my party had the best time ever. We will definatley come again and will be brining the kids as I think they will love it. I had nothing to complain about. Everything and everyone was amazing 10/10 for everything. The lodge was amazing, very clean very modern. Thank you very much, for everything I'm sure you will see me again ;)
We had a lovely stay at Hoburne Naish. Coming from NZ, it was our first experience of an English style holiday park. Enjoyed all the extra on site facilities like pools, playground, restaurants etc. It was really family friendly and I would definitely recommend to others.
The park was huge and got lost the first day. As well as street signs, more signs pointing towards reception would be great to have ☺
Also I don't know how busy the pool gets but thought some lane ropes would be good for more organised swimming as on a busy morning there was no space with people spread all over the pool randomly.
We enjoyed our week at Hoburne Naish. Everything was in good working order (not 'run-down' as one reviewer said.
We would have appreciated a bigger soft play area for the under 4s.
The swimming pool was fine, though maybe a slide could be added to the childern's pool.
The 4 bedroom lodge was good for 4 adults and one child, but would have been rather cramped for 6 adults and 2 children, as the bedrooms are not big. However, there was everything we needed, and we self catered every evening.
The site is large, but there is plenty of space between the lodges, and we particularly appreciated the large green space in the middle of the Meadow Lakes area.
We love the fact that you can walk to the beach at Highcliffe.
Staff were friendly and helpful and our little boy loved the kiddies pool. The bar area and soft play were a little tired looking. The shop was very basic. I would also not expect there to be so much building work going on across the site in September. Finally the marketing material should make clear how far the rented lodges are from a sea view, with all the best spots taken by the holiday homes.
The location was lovely, the entertainment for children was good, food was ok.
I have been coming to Hoburne Naish for twenty years and this was the first time I have been disappointed with the accommodation. It was dark & gloomy surrounded by trees and I had to spend the first hour cleaning & hovering up cobwebs & spiders. Several light bulbs didn't work. That said, all my previous visits have been lovely and hopefully this was a blip. I shall return again next year. Hopefully normal service & standards will have been resumed.
Clean and friendly site
my family have been coming to Naish for many years and always enjoyed our time there.
This year was difficult for us as my husband had a disability which effects his walking.
the chalet we stayed in had a long walk over a grassy area, this was almost impossible
for him to access, even with us helping him it was very difficult for him to enjoy the site as much as he would have liked. Next year we will have to think carefully about our booking.
We were delighted with the location of our chalet right on the cliffs with a wonderful view of the IOW and the Purbeck Hills in the other direction. The weather was perfect too.
We were very disappointed with the reception staff - we gave up waiting to register for the club as the only receptionist on duty was on the phone, didn't acknowledge or apologise to the queue of guests waiting and no-one else came to assist despite there being other people in the office. A similar thing happened on two other occasions when we wanted to speak to reception staff.
In the restaurant they had run out of some items on the menu but this fact was not displayed anywhere necessitating returning to the table to select something else and then back to the counter to order.
Perfect for a complete rest·Very enjoyable·Will do it again·
Good location near sea. However the evening entertainments club is too small if you don't get there by six in the evening then there are no tables left. So you can go on holiday but have nothing to do in the evenings This is complained about by most people who review naish so why are you not listening and doing something about it if you pay a lot of
Money for 3 nights you expect to be able to go and see the entertainment !!!!
A well situated camp, with the New Forest on your doorstep & Bournemouth etc just a short drive away. The camp itself is very clean & quiet with accommodation well spaced out, unlike many other camps. Solent lodge we stayed in was getting a little dated in places but offers very spacious accommodation, good kitchen etc & for the price was more than adequate for our stay. Didn't use many on site facilities, but the kids enjoyed their one visit to the pool & evening entertainment. Overall would recommend for a short break. A pleasant park in a pleasant location.
Great wonderful place to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone
Lodge was more than we could have asked for very comfortable
