One of the best breaks I've been on such a nice and relaxing place will definitely be going again
Excellent base to explore the delights of York and surrounding areas
Really nice and quiet location. Perfect for our family and the dog loved it. Plenty of fields for the kids and the dog to run about in. After checking in you dont see the staff again until check out.
the owner is very friendly and helpful, plus the farmer daughter is lovely and pea light.
Don't be put off by the first sight, it's a working farm and quite muddy and messy, once you find the cabin it's well worth it
Reception could have been more obvious (as it was night time when we arrived).... signs not lit up.
Location was brilliant. Nice view of river and 10 mins drive into York.
We were very happy with the cabin , surroundings and location.
Very quite place to relax in the country side. Ideal place to spend with the family and switch off from the rat race of city life.
Staff are the best and very helpfull
Home farm is a fabulous place to stay, its value for money and quite so if its peace your looking for this is the place! The only thing i would mark it down for ( and yes i no its a farm!) there is lots of mud and as we took our dog he often walked mud into the lodge, other than that it was perfect and we would return
It would be better if there was a pub near by but for the money it was amazing. Me and girlfriend had an amazing time, the hottub was private and there is pubs but driving distance.
Beautiful cabins in a beautiful area. They were clean and tidy and fantastic value for money. The family who run the site were so kind, warm, welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be returning in the not so distant future and can not wait for our next vist. Thank you very much for making our first family holiday such a special one.
very close to the Designer outlet park and ride where we caught the bus into York. You would never know you were so close to a major city as it feels like you are in the country. Situated on a very quiet site, a little bit hard to find in the dark as sign is not very prominent - even the taxi drivers had trouble finding it when we wanted to catch a show in York on Sunday night. The drive down to the site is on a single track with a gulley to each side which was a bit scary when we arrived in thick fog.
