Excellent break in magnificent surroundings
Lodge was dirty, windows and bathroom mouldy. Lodge 5 is older and in a row of lodges so not very private as also overlooked. Couch falling to bits... Oh list goes on and on!
Great lodges only slight problem is because of narrow road it is not easy to walk into Killin
Great location staff are excellent accommodation lovely and very dog friendly
Helpfully, friendly, comfortable and most important they allowed my two greyhounds to have a lovely time.So much so I've already booked for next year.
Lovely walk in to the village of Killin , albeit slightly dangerous on the first part due to no pavement , would be nice if there was a way through the woodland in to the village.
Had a lovely time beautiful place can't wait to go by in the new yr thank you for making it a lovely holiday
Manager that we spoke to (from South Africa?) Andrew??? He was great - very helpful and very welcoming, we thought he was an asset to the company, can't praise him more.
We got what we expected althoughwe didn't realise that the lodge was in a row of lodges, we thought it was detached, but never mind. Over all we enjoyed it and we would return. The only thing was the electricity metre was very expensive and we didn't realise that this would be there. Also the sheets etc felt damp and the place could've done with a deep clean. I noticed splashes on the living room wall of previous split drinks etc and in the bathroom there were also splashes on the wall (wood cladding) that couldve been wiped off. The bathroom was also a little damp/smelled mouldy but we didn't expect 5 star as we had paid a very reasonable price.
