Third time here just love it so peaceful and relaxed but fifteen minutes to Exeter. Not going to sell it too much as we want to be able to come back without it being fully booked !!!

Absolutely fantastic! Had a wonderful stay with you guys this September/ October. Very clean, well furnished, well equipped and very nice and quite! Away from the hustle and bustle, super relaxing break, have recommended to friends and family, and will no doubt be re-booking for next year.
A massive thank you, and see you again real soon.

Lovely long wend break.lodges are fab!.But you need to use your car to go exploring.

Absolutely spot on. cannot fault this place, the lodge was spotless, the site was spotless.
The Lodge had everything you need and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. we stopped in Lodge 3 which in our opinion is the best situated as it is the most private. The bed was very comfy and we slept like a log!
It is so quiet all you hear is the sheep and a pheasant!
The lane leading down to the lodge from main road is 2.1 miles and is single track, we didn't meet anything except a horse one morning which we guess we were lucky as meeting traffic could be fun! we have a 4x4 and the mirrors touched the hedge both sides! we thought this was fun but a nervous driver might not!.
No mobile signal which didn't bother us, we did use the free wifi to keep in touch with home.
The village pub the lamb looks nice, the one night we decided to go it was shut! we found another pub a couple of miles down the road towards Exeter called the Twisted Oak! (brown signs take you there) very nice we went twice, good for families as has a beer garden with slides but also has a family restaurant and bar restaurant, so if like us your a couple you can eat in peace! food was lovely both times.
No local shop but sainsburys only 10 min drive.
Torquay was about 25 mins drive and Dartmoor to see ponies about 10-15 mins.
All in all we had a fantastic peaceful week and would go again tomorrow.
A total get away from it all holiday didn't want to leave.

The lodge itself was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable. It had everything we could need in it, and the wifi was superb. The settee was very comfortable as was the bed, we felt very at home here.
Value for money was excellent, especially given the peace and quiet we got here generally. We had lodge 3 which was probably the best in terms of ultimate privacy

A wonderful lodge in a wonderful setting, peaceful, quiet and relaxing yet only ten minutes from Exeter. You leave feeling you have totally unwound. We will be back.

We stayed at Kingsford Farm during half term in May. The lodges are in a beautiful location, quite remote but it's lovely to be away from it all. The nice thing is that there are only four lodges so you don't feel overcrowded and they overlook a lovely fishing lake which you're welcome to use if you wish.
The lodges themselves are equipped with everything you might need and are very clean. The beds are also very comfortable.
The outdoor space of the lodge is also very nice. There is a table and chairs for you to use and of course the hot tub! The hot tubs are just lovely and are checked everyday to ensure that the chemical balance is correct. The hot tubs are a really nice touch, especially in the evenings with a glass of wine! The only thing missing is a BBQ but you're more than welcome to take your own or use a disposable one.
If you're looking for a clean & comfortable place to stay in a beautiful location then look no further. Unfortunately we had to leave our lodge halfway through our holiday due to illness but we will definitely return as it feels like a little piece of heaven...

A really lovely and comfortable lodge.
The peace was lovely and great black out blinds on every window! The most comfortable lounge seating we have ever had!
If you are a Satnav driver I would always recommend turning right out of the drive wherever you are going!!
Lodge 3 is very private but lodge 4 overlooks the garden from the tub-which was very well maintained.

Lovely place to relax and unwind, 2nd time for us and it won't be the last. Owners are always friendly, lodge is spacious, clean and has all the usual facilities to offer. The hot tub and deck makes it a blissful haven to sit out and watch the wildlife. The farm is close enough to the sights but tucked away enough to be peacefull. Just love it.

Lovely place to stay and we were made to feel very welcome. Its in a very quiet and peacful area but still lovely and close to local attractions.
The accomodation was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was wonderful - clear starry sky was a bonus!
would definately stay there again

Lovely tranquil setting. Received a warm welcome.
Overall we enjoyed out stay in the Lodge, we did however notice that the shower wasn't cleaned brought you and the windows and internal glass doors were badly marked and dirty, it didn't spoil our break but more attention needed to the cleaning.

Clean spacious and well equiped lodge in a quite location. We had a fantastic and relaxing time. The kids loved the hot tub especially at night when they could have the lights on. We would definitely stop in these lodges again. Thank you.

Superb, high standard lodge. Hot tub is the icing on the cake and it is quite central location to a lot of attractions within commutable distance
