I stayed here over Christmas and it was amazing and would recommend this to anyone.
HAD A LOVELY ROMANTIC BREAK IN A BEAUTIFUL PART OF THE COUNTRY THE SCENERY WAS STUNNING AND THE LOCATION PERFECT.
Absolutely amazing place to stop. Even in December! Beautiful views amazing staff on hand to help with anything stunning lodges, an all round amazing place to visit. Will be returning in the summer 100%
Beautiful surroundings and a very relaxing holiday in a luxury lodge.
First class location, really friendly and helpful staff. The Moorings are some of the best equipped lodges we have stayed in.
Local village was ok but everywhere had shut for the winter so couldn't get any supplies etc we stayed at start of November. A trip to Inverness took 50mins so it's not a quick drive which was poor as I got told it was only about 20mins before I booked from staff! Surrounding were beautiful and views of Loch Ness we're stunning. Also the main road to Inverness was only about 20ft from lodge so heard traffic constantly.
From the initial meeting till we left the staff could not have offered anymore.
Had a fantastic weekend with fantastic scenery and the cabin was stunning :)
very helpful staff and lovely location
The overall area is lovely, and what beautiful scenery to wake up to in the morning
Beautiful location, and super relaxing.
Beautiful setting, beautiful lodge.
However bar and restaurant closed and nearest place to eat was over a mile meaning we had to drive a lot more than we would have liked
The location of the park is excellent with beautiful views onto Loch Ness.. What more could you ask for!?!
Maybe the for the items that are classes as "luxury" within the lodge to work!
Even those non-luxury items like lighting could have worked!
The couple who ran the park did try to fix the lights by replacing one of the bulkheads which was successful, but the other lighting around the lodge did not work. At night you could not see a thing out on the decking!!
The tv in the bathroom was a nice touch, if only it worked! No remote was present to operate it and when I asked the lady who ran the park she kindly brought me a remote control from another lodge. This still failed to operate the tv so that put the idea of a nice relaxing whirlwind bath whilst watching the soaps out the window!
The lady also claimed they had only been at the park 3 weeks where her husband told me in another conversation that they had only been at the park for 1 week so were still getting to grips with things.
I smell something fishy... Perhaps they need to get their stories right with each other!
Quite a small park, appears still getting established. Pub was shut sue to staff sickness. But - absolutely stunning location. Staff very friendly, perfect base for exploring the area. Would definitely go back.
