The lodge itself was lovely, with everything you need. The actual surroundings was very open. You feel it is a fairly new holiday area. It is a project that in a few years when the trees and woodland grows and flourishes, will be outstanding. It was a lovely quiet and relaxing break.

Staff called in person on 1st night to ensure that everything was ok instead of ringing. Nice walk into the village or cartmel and located a short drive from the lakes.

Beautiful lodge (Masham) and surroundings. Great location, a 10 minute walk into Cartmel with its great pubs and restaurants. Great hot tub, and reclining furniture! A great place to stay for our first wedding anniversary getaway!

The village is about 20 min walk away and small, friendly people and lovely and peaceful!

Lodges are well spead out so no-one is overlooked. They are close to both Cartmel and Grange and both have a good range of eating place catering for all tastes. Staff came to see if we had settled in or had any problems...no problems at all. Excellent price for what we got.

Overall good although twin bedroom had a damp smell and one of ceiling downlighters was hanging loose. Would have preferred if hot tub was totally secluded with also perhaps under a pergola or canopy to enable to use regardless of weather

Lovely short break....well away from everything but only 15mins away from Windermere if that is what your after.
