Real reviews, from customers like you.
Excellent Easter break in a very tranquil location.
Lodge fab, home from home and nice touch with the bottle of bubbly.
Hot tub icing on the cake.
Couple of power cuts but staff on hand to sort problem.
Overall excellent break, wouldn't hesitate to returning.... 10/10
The view from the hot tub was a pile of rubbish waiting to be a bonfire! Also a man made rather untidy hill!!
We also had this view from living area so we kept blinds and curtain closed throughout our stay!
We felt we should have been told bout this beforehand as there is also an untidy building plot at the side!
The lodge itself was lovely modern and clean. Staff helpful
A lovely break with many positives. My negatives I came away with were two.
1. Check in is at 4pm, check out is at 10am. I've never stayed somewhere with such extremes and it made a 5 day trip, 3 full days and 2 little bits.
2. Hot tub is advertised as private use however daily checks are done between 10am and 12pm. I fully understand that the checks need to be done however I've stayed in lodges before where they are done between 8am and 10am therefore making a private hot tub exactly that so that when you are using it at a popular time ie mid morning there isn't someone coming around checking hot tubs.
These are the only 2 points on an otherwise lovely stay away but could make a good score an excellent score
Raywell is a very quiet peaceful place but it's very sparce... I was expecting a larger site with plenty of walks but apart from a lovely lodge & hot tub that's about it... Stayed in the sundown lodge fab lodge but overlooking nothing at the back where the hot tub is but an embankment.. Was hoping for lovely views but nothing to see at all... Grounds kept in good order & no problems overall but would not rush to go back
Was really thrilled with the standard of everything, however disappointed not to have TVs in rooms. When staying in an Autograph lodge previously we had a cover over the jacussi area. The majority of our time at Raywell the british weather was ase usual inclement and therefore we were in the rain! Mirrors in each room would also prove handy.
We stayed in 34 larchwood & found it excellent. The on site tea room is lovely as well.
A lovely and quiet park, ideal for the "get away from it all" break.
The staff. especially Gemma, are excellent.
We will definately go to Raywell Hall lodges again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable accommodation and the tea shop is definitely worth a visit. We particularly appreciated the well cared for grounds.
We couldn't have asked for anything more!
So pleased and impressed!
Clean, great location, staff left you in peace but easy to contact if needed.
Attention to detail was spot on from kitchen utensils to out door seating!
The lodge was smaller and less luxurious than expected. Little things like fraying carpet and dusty shelves but overall a great stay.
Stayed in spa hideaway - gorgeous lodge very private hot tub - loved every second! Not a lot to do on an evening however
Nice surroundings, but not that much to do or see in the area for more than a couple of days without travelling a fare way. Lodge and hot tub made the visit, great place for a peaceful, quiet, romantic weekend.
One of the best lodges we have stayed in
My partner and I were very impressed with Raywell Hall. The place was very inviting and everyone was friendly. The grounds of Raywell was very spacious, clean and well set out. It was easy to find our Lodge and the surrounding area was very pretty and peaceful.
We were taken back by how beautiful the lodge was. Soon as we walked in, it made us feel right at home! It was easy to move around in the lodge and to find everything, due to it being open plan. Bright and inviting colours were used throughout each room, including for the kitchen appliances, lovely pictures were on the walls, cushions and a bed throw were provided etc. Dimmer lights and spot lights under the kitchen table were a fantastic, modern touch to the place, along with having a wet room.
We were able to relax in the evening with having a big L shaped sofa. And last but not least, we couldn't ask for more with having a hot tub to soak in. It was checked every day and was always full with water/ at the correct temperature. Some one knocked on the door in the morning, to ask us if we were okay with them checking the hot tub too. Which I found was very polite and good customer service.
We would be more than happy to come back and visit Raywell Hall again in the future. Also we have recommended Raywell Hall to friends and family.

Good central location, clean site and accommodation, would definitely stay there again if in the area.
