A good caravan but the seats need to be more comfortable and the TV was very poor, very old and only showed part of the picture regardless of setting. The linin was shabby, quilts thin and, the bed was not very comfortable.

It would have all been great if not for the furniture inside the holiday homes. The table + chairs are for thin and light people. I am sure that if I was considered somewhat fat I would break the chairs by just sitting on them. The mattresses are so bad that you can feel the springs scratching your body. For the master bedroom they put an extra (thick) blanket on top of it (you could still feel the springs but ok) however the children's beds were really awful and they a had hard time sleeping.

Uncomfortable bed and seats not comfortable. The caravan was very clean and had been well looked after.

Dirty carpets in sitting room and bedroom toilet

I think the caravan was excellent, virtually brand new if not actually brand new.
Confirmed guest, 2015-05-01
the van was fantastic. The little touches such as tea and coffe and a shower pack not to mention towels and kitchen bits and pieces just made the whole experience more rewarding

Had a great holiday and the caravan was really comfortable but a little expensive.

Brilliant caravan very clean everything there you need
Only things I found was the mattress on the bed needed replacing but everything else was spot on and could not be faulted at all

Helpfulness of staff
We booked an 8 berth lodge however there was no sofa bed in the sitting room so my brother slept on the floor in the sitting room.

Had a lovely relaxing few days with my family, been many times to wooler before a really nice place to chill out away from every day life, first time staying in lodge was lovely, already booked to stay again next year.

Stayed many times. Perfect location and park for a break
We were very pleased with the lodge and the position of it on the site. It was very quiet and relaxing and the lodge had everything we needed. The kids were impressed with the dressing room attached to their bedroom but we found the doors to our en-suite a bit strange, they didn't lock and you couldn't pull them shut very well from the inside! Not a problem if we were on our own but with grandchildren with us it wasn't very private! We paid £10 for 3 days wi-go but it didn't work that well, in fact it was s waste of money, on the plus side we put our phones away and had an Internet free weekend. The club house was a fair walk away across a road and along a dark path but was ok once we got there, a typical type of holiday club, no frills but entertajned the kids. Overall a nice clean park and we would return.
The swimming pool looked fine but never had opportunity to use it as it closed by 3pm and most days we went out early to see the local area. It would have been great to be able to come back say 5 till 7 for a swim. The location was great for getting to local attractions. Caravan was lovely and it was clean and comfortable. 21inch tv could do with upgrading to say 38 inch minimum as it was a little small for 6 people to gather round and watch. Could have done with a little more storage space. Overall we had a great holiday and we're happy with this holiday.

Fantastic caravan, had a great stay.

Very good. Clubhouse a bit dated and a bit far away from site. Busy road to walk down in the dark with young children
Confirmed guest, 2015-10-26
Fantastic place!!! Have stayed here on numerous occasions & will be returning.

Was ok thought club would be on site not very big either and no organisation was very disappointed in the country and western weekend.
Confirmed guest, 2015-10-03
Unfortunately the cleaning staff all decided to have a sicky on the same day we arrived and we were over two hours late in to the van, we had two meals in the bar and had to complain as the seasonal veg turned out to be a shed load of peas? Apart from that I give an overall score of 9 for the site and staff etc and 4 for the food.

Had another fabulous stay at Riverside. Caravan was stunning, very modern and immaculate when we arrived. Entertainment at night was perfect for our two children (ages 7 and 5) and the pool was a huge hit.
Looking forward to our next visit to Riverside.
A lovely clean site with a excellent standard of accommodation. We could not fault anything. The Lodge we stayed in was beautiful with plenty of room spotlessly clean and in a lovely setting. Although we didn't see the staff very much they were very helpful when we needed them. The fact we didn't need them was testament in its self. The site is very large and took some navigating but once we found our way around it was great. The rain prevented us exploring the on sight walks too much will try those next visit. The surrounding area is great. Wooler is a lovely little village,Amble and Berwick are well worth a visit. The Tankerville Arms for a meal is a must!!!

Relax and unwind in one of the most peaceful areas of the country when you stay at one of our holiday parks in Northumberland. Walkers and beachcombers revel in the dramatic clifftop paths and long, sweeping sands of the coast, and the Northumberland National Park and Cheviot Hills are a nature lovers’ paradise, while water sports enthusiasts of all kinds flock to the vast expanses of Kielder Water. It’s certainly tranquil now, but the impressive castles and peel towers you’ll find within easy reach of our holiday parks in Northumberland speak of the county’s turbulent history. Alnwick Castle, famously doubling as Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter films, is particularly well preserved and also boasts some spectacular water gardens. Make time to explore Berwick’s magnificent town walls, built in the first Elizabethan era, and if you cross the causeway to visit Holy Island’s heritage centre you can, thanks to computer wizardry, ‘turn the pages’ of the beautifully illuminated Lindisfarne Gospels. Constructed by the Romans and now almost 2000 years old, Hadrian’s Wall is still standing – surely a must see when enjoying caravan holidays in Northumberland. And when you’ve relaxed enough, head to Newcastle and Gateshead’s Metro Centre for buzzing nightlife and great shopping.
