Great base for us an ideal position for the two fisheries we wanted to visit also the caravan we had was great . Only one fault the television cable in bedroom was just hanging down it could easy be caught on passing it
The only thing we were surprised at on the site Riverside was the number of caravans privately owned, there were so many of them and only a few for general hire, we are not in a position to purchase a holiday home of our own and would be disappointed if in the future we could not book a holiday on Riverside because they are all privately owned.
Great place to say with kids, lovely setting, good entertainment and facilities, we'll definitely be back.
We had a lovely 4 night stay in April in a Deluxe 2 caravan. The caravan was lovely, the best we had ever stayed in and was very clean and cosy. There were lots of great things to do in the surrounding areas and it was great having a reasonable sized Co-op nearby.
We did not use the swimming pool, bar or shop or the evening entertainment so cannot comment on them.
A very enjoyable stay and would stay there again.
Great, clean caravan, lovely quiet parks not too busy great for younger children, relaxing holiday.
lovely riverside location and good facilities. The kids club entertainment was wonderfull
A peaceful holiday enjoyed by all the family. Comfortable accommodation in a pleasant setting.
overall good but staff at shop and reception found to be not very knowledgable and lost money due to their poor advice.
Excellent holiday but only downside was the pool. Only holds 15people & you have to book this in advance a day before at the shop onsite.
We have family living in Newcastle and thought a break with the grandkids & daughter would be great. Riverside Country Park is very well situated in a rural spot but easy distance to local beauty spots. Our Deluxe caravan had everything we could have asked for, fully equipped and nice & cosy with the heating on was a bonus in early April. Beds were comfy, kitchen fully equipped and shower very adequate. The kids had a whale of a time and we will certainly be back for more breaks & to explore the beautiful Northumberland area.
Great place staff brilliant the only thing is the WiFi you have to pay for it and it doesn't always work that's the only let down for me why not put a few pounds extra and the cost of staying and have free WiFi if it's free you can't really complain!!!!
It's shame we didn't have free access to wifi. It seems very ancient that the guests have to pay for the usage of wifi at such a holiday park.
Well kept site in good position to visit both coast and countryside
great value for money. nearby pool very small, potentially not worth a visit. bar across the road is decent to spend one night, affordable and food ok.
Nice location to explore and little village of Wooler with nice pubs and an excellent Italian close by. Caravan was clean and tidy.
