Take a break at our holiday parks in East Lothian and you’ll find a spectacularly lovely coastline, rolling countryside dotted with historic buildings and castles, and one of the finest cities in the world on your doorstep. Compact and beautiful, the heart of Edinburgh is a delightful blend of towering medieval buildings in the Old Town and the elegance of the Georgian New Town, and soaring above it all the massive splendour of the castle. The Museum of Scotland, Arthur’s Seat and the National Gallery are just some of the city’s treasures – and a ‘must see’ for everyone taking caravan holidays in East Lothian.
But there is so much more to enjoy just a short drive from our holiday parks. East Lothian boasts miles of beautiful coastline, bathed in more sunshine than anywhere else in Scotland, perfect for water sports of all kinds. Walkers can follow the John Muir Way from Musselburgh to Dunbar, and keen golfers will be spoilt for choice, there are so many superb courses here. At the Scottish Seabird Centre you can control cameras trained on the colonies of Bass Rock, while the National Museum of Flight offers a Concorde ‘experience’. And at the Glenkinchie distillery you’ll no doubt want to sample the famous malt whisky.
