At the pretty little seaside town of Porthmadog you can take a nostalgic steam train journey on the famous Ffestiniog Railway, and no stay at our holiday lodges in Gwynedd would be complete without a trip to the extraordinary, Italianate village of Portmeirion, world famous as the setting for the cult TV series, The Prisoner.
