And with four long distance paths passing through the county and 154 miles of the Herefordshire Trail within it, there’s plenty of walking too.

The Black and White Village Trail and Cider Trail are also popular with many visitors and you’ll find them easy to follow from all our holiday lodges in Herefordshire. Take time to explore the renowned beauty spot of Symonds Yat and the lovely Wye Valley – also a wonderful habitat for wildlife – and be sure to visit Hereford Cathedral, home of the Mappa Mundi (the oldest world map) and famous Chained Library.
