A wild and wonderful landscape steeped in history and legend, one of the least populated in Britain and the perfect setting for relaxing lodge holidays in Scotland.

It’s great walking country, perfect for nature lovers and bird watchers, and the locations of our holiday lodges in Scotland make it easy to enjoy a superb range of outdoor activities. There are fabulous, secluded beaches to discover too, particularly along the lovely, Gulf Stream warmed West Coast, while dolphin and whale spotting trips off the East Coast offer an unforgettable experience.

This is the land of Robert the Bruce and William Wallace, a country that bears its history proudly – and from all our holiday lodges in Scotland you’ll be able to visit the sites of great battles and numerous magnificent castles, some of them the evocative ruins of mighty fortresses, others romantically turreted and furnished with fine antiques.
