Loved the lodge great for our dogs Paddy and Murphy walks brilliant would definitely come back
A fabulous few days away. lovely accommodation. beautiful area.
We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of September. This is a beautiful, peaceful location and we wished we could have stayed longer. The whole Park is immaculately kept and David and Sue could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. The lodge was very comfortable with up to date facilities and the Park is dog-friendly.
We would have no hesitation in recommending The Ridgeway to anyone.
A very warm welcome from dave & family to a lovely picturesque park.
The personnel who own the site were extremely helpful and friendly. There was no problems at all with the holiday.
The lodge was beautifully presented and self contained . Staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. The only problem we had was that the holiday went to quick we had such a fantastic time . Would definitely would recommend it
Location was a little quiet for us personally and was quite a lengthy walk to the nearest town, especially with our 4 year old daughter. We had to drive into town on most days / nights however if hiking / walks are your thing then there are some stunning views. Accommodation was great though, high spec cabin with some nice finishing touches. Staff were very friendly.
Enjoyed our stay at the Ridgeway because of the quiet and lovely valley location. Chester Park and Ride is ideal and the Zoo is not too far. Owners very friendly and being able to chat with them made the holiday very nice.
only problem with location for us was that there was nowhere within walking distance for food or drink.
Site was very small, virtually no green space.
Lovely quite holiday park with lots to see and do nearby. I have stayed in the caravans and lodges and the accommodation is very comfortable. Very good area to take dogs on holiday too. Highly recommended.
Peaceful retreat, no facilities, i.e club house etc but non required or wanted so for us it was just perfect
Lovely peaceful week with plenty of things to do in area
