We went in February and it was freezing! Despite that we did manage a couple of walks in the woods and a trip to the park. We were even lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a red squirrel.
Excellent accomodation - the lodge was modern, very clean and well appointed. My only hestation is recommending the site is that I didn't find the staff at the on site restaurant very child friendly or helpful.
Beautiful accomodation but not as picturesque area as I had hoped.
Very good holiday. Excellent restaurant on site. Quiet, clean area.
We had the most relaxing stay everything was just perfect
Very central and will definitaly be booking again
been three times now still great
Stayed in one of the lodges. They are beautifully maintained and have everything you need to make yourself feel at home. Superb quality and highly recommended.
The surrounding countryside is amazing - some of the walks into the Ochil Hills are well worth getting out of breath for and the nearby towns and villages provide all you need.
The onsite restaurant is high quality - though be aware you may need to book as they get very busy.
Loved our two weeks hear and would be more than happy to go again.
The woods was set in a lovely place very calm and tranquil. Excellent base.
One thing I would mark this down on is you can not let your dogs off the leads, I understand why as not everyone's dog is well disciplined but when you have a 2 and 3 year old dog full of beans its hard to burn them out and enjoy your holiday. Other than that this was a lovely place to stay and I will be visiting again in future.
the staff at the woods were very friendly and helpful. the views from the lodge were fantastic this was one of the best holiday we have been on..
Log cabin was beautiful.
Found staff to be rude on occasions.
Had few problems with no water.
1st time to Scotland and the Woods proved to be great base for visiting Glasgow and a Edinburgh and other local attractions. Fantastic lodge only downside was lack of crockery and cutlery and the WIFI which was expensive and very slow. Other than these minor issues loved the lodge and would recommend.
Fantastic park, great location and was very quiet and clean.
