Loved the area and the lodge we stayed in although a bit tired looking and in need of a refurbish was comfotable and nice.
We had a drink in the clubhouse but it's uninviting and very cold. On a previous occasion there were comfy seats available so we were more inclined to stay .

Had a really good stay at Tummel Valley. I visited with my mum and the dog. The log cabin was huge and nicely decorated, but some of the fixtures needed mended (hole in a door, fridge was breaking, wall paper cracked), we were also missing some utensils but were not given them despite asking for them. As it was out of season and a really cold week, it was good to see that the heating worked really well in the cabin and we were nice and toasty. Facilities wise, we used the pool once and visited the bar once for bingo but it wasn't on due to numbers. The park is huge and there was a lot of space for the dog to get out a walk. The park is also a great base for exploring the area.
We had a great few days at Tummel Valley and were very impressed that entertainment was still available in November.
We did unfortunately have a couple of negatives. Firstly, the swimming pool. There seemed to be confusion amongst the staff as to the correct process for accessing the pool. As we had 2 small children and in a lodge quite a distance from the facilities, we had to use torches as there was a streetlight out, which made the walk to and from the facilities very dark! Finally, on first appearance, the lodge looked amazing, but on closer inspection, it was quite tired in certain areas, like beds and threadbare bed linen. Also the cleanliness of the bedrooms weren't the greatest.
Negatives aside, the lodge was cosy and warm on arrival and looked very welcoming with the dimmed lights and fire on. Given how much we paid for our 3 night stay, we have to admit that you couldn't get the same value for money in many places and would visit again.

Tummel valley lodges are beautiful our lodge was warm and inviting and spotlessly clean. The location is quite far away from any local shops and the little shop within the valley is quite expensive. We stayed three nights and on the Saturday night all the facilities were closed to the staying guests due to a private party. Therefore we had to stay in from 2pm that day until the following day which isn't ideal with a toddler. The next day we were informed by other guests that they had been giving £50 vouchers as an apology for the bar and venue being closed. We tried to express are disappointment with a reception member who said the manager would call us as soon as possible that was on the 12th November and still nobody has contacted us. We then spoke to main receptionist and she said they contact us to sort out part of a refund. However this is over a week and half ago. I feel as though we are being ignored and it is unfair to treat some paying customers differently to others. Prior notification should have been given about this.

Very remote which is not made clear. Staff not helpful with arranging families different caravans in same area. Entertainment area too small

Little disappointed as had to wait an hour and 15 mins to get into our caravan. Caravan had seen better days, no lamp shade in living room, curtains hanging together, food marks still on table, etc, etc

Boiler broke had no heating or hot water to wash up or get showers for 3 days

Our caravan had damp patches on the walls of the main bedroom - clothes that fell onto the bedroom floor quickly felt damp.
The bathroom was also heavily mildewed which just led to the place feeling grubby.
We were very disappointed with the Children's entertainment team who seemed extremely bored with their job roles and not at all interested in the children or creating any kind of buzz of excitement for them.
I was also irked by being continually bombarded with opportunities to spend a small fortune on plastic tat and character merchandise. Had the entertainment actually been memorable I might have felt more like purchasing a souvenir.
The icing on the cake was a meal in the bar restaurant where we found numerous dead flies floating in the vinegar - AFTER we had eaten. Nauseating!!! I dread to think what happens in the kitchen if this is what happens with the condiments.
In short, I won't be back!

Check in is 4pm, we arrived at 4pm to find our lodge not ready and was told it would be 10mins, 1 hour and 15 mins later we received our keys along with about 30 other quests with the same problem. No explanation as to why. Arrived at our lodge to a load of dirt laundry outside the lodge, not a good look!! disappointed as this was our second visit to tummel valley and felt it wasn’t a good start to an otherwise good stay, maybe need to up the cleaning staff if they haven’t got enough time to get the lodges ready in time. Not a good start to our parents 70th birthday treat.
Lovely caravan, staff friendly not enough to do on site for 3 year old and poorly equipped for and extremely remote location.

Just for us personaly was too far out. Was given a grubby caravan.

Caravan was ok but facilities offered do not match description. There was no wi-fi even although it said it was in selected areas. Could not get into the pool as it was fully booked and the crazy golf was a small area with a few pegs! The dining area was not the cleanest and service was poor.
Lodge was quite poor. Two windows did not lock. Rusty bathroom fittings. No tea towel even though other towels supplied. Pool very small and far to hot. Location is on a very bad road which doesn't suit those suffering from travel sickness
Had a great time, travelled with my wife and son and four children. Our caravan was very clean &tidy and comfortable.sited opposite the football park which was good for the kids.all the amenities were very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly
