We enjoyed our stay after asking to be moved to a pond side lodge, which had a much better outlook.
Luckily for us, our Easter school holiday was a week later than most of the country, so we found it to be quiet, which was great for booking onto activity sessions and finding room in the pool, but the knock on effect was little atmosphere in the event room for night time entertainment....can't grumble though....we won the bingo due to lack of competition!
Accommodation in desperate need of refurbishment
Great Stay, great food at restaraunt also at a reasonable price.
Facilities clean and looked after.
Pool clean well manned and changing rooms clean
Stayed in woodside lodge. had everything we required. Smoke alarm battery went off half way through first night and dripping shower, called reception first thing in the morning and with 20 minutes both had been rectified by maintenance. Very good.
Would recommend for sure.
Lovely park with great facilities especially for young children. The apartment was very spacious but the bathroom was a little shabby and it could do with a dishwasher but overall we had a great holiday. The staff were excellent and even sent my daughters toy rabbits back us that we mistakenly left there! Lots to do nearby would recommend.
Great location, accommodation was clean, though slightly damaged by previous use. Food on-site was ok, but quite expensive, so I'd suggest eating out or getting out a barbecue! Activities kept the children highly occupied and all were very well organised - would definitely go again
The restaurant has nowhere near enough capacity for the hundreds of people who are staying during busy periods. This park would be perfect if there was a bigger/more restaurants and a bigger bar area. There is not enough seating and having to wait 2 hours for a table is a big problem when young children are waiting to eat and there is nowhere else to go.
The rest of holiday was very good and the apartments are very well equipped.
A great last min hol will definitely come again!
Excellent pool area. Outdoor playground fantastic. Soft play a little small. Take away food nice but very limited options. Restaurant not experienced.
We stayed at log cabin number 2. Brilliant. Wifi was awsome! We were able to stream netflix brilliantly.
Lots of birds and ducks around including a mandarin duck coming to visit every morning.
Whitehead is set in the Forest of Dean, lovely walks from the park gate. The staf were helpful and knowledgeable.
we had a lovely time, we have stayed in log cabin, and last year we took a tent, field was a bit muddy, but it was late in the season. we will definately be coming again soon
Attractive park, good facilities
Only downside was the Forresters restaurant which we only ate in on the first day because it was overpriced for the quality of the food.
Good compact site, not too big, needs better, larger soft play for small kids. Costume spinners in pool changing area.
Will definitely be returning
