In spite of wet weather the lodge was warm, comfortable and welcoming. Everything we could need was there. Enjoyed the village as well. All in all an excellent break.
Lovely, secluded and private position, very comfortable and cosy lodge, had very good weather too!Highly recommend staying here, a hidden gem!
We arrived to find the site in complete darkness and had to guess which lodge was ours as there was nobody there. We made several attempts to contact the owners enough and the day before but had no response.
We had a relaxing, peaceful weekend
Nice and quiet
nice place in a small village not to far away from everything but far enough
was very quiet which was what was wanted didn't see anybody apart from when we picked the keys up, nice and clean
Relaxing, enjoyable with many interesting places to visit
Lovely location and the lodge was extremely comfortable and very well equipped.
Absolutely amazing holiday , beautiful setting , quiet and tranquil , very nice accommodation , and the staff were so friendly , would highly recommend this place
Three lovely clean lodges on the outskirts of a beautiful village situated to the side of a beef farm. Idyllic and quiet location surrounded by open country with lots of walks to explore. Perfect if you want to get away from it all and do not require any additional things other than a good base to explore from.
Very tranquil setting, Ideal for exploring Wiltshire and Hampshire where there are many things to do like exploring the many NT properties in the area and there's, Wookie Hole, Stonehenge and the Kennet and Avon canal to name but a few thing to do.
The location and house is okay. Clean and well stocked. Bad shower although, not more than a little dribble of water. We met the landlady at the beginning (welcome) and the end (farewell), she was kind; we haven't seen any staff. We missed a house-book with info (were to leave garbage, goed pubs/restaurants neatby).
Lovely lodge in a great location with amazing view of fields and woods. The kids (aged 3 1/2 and 18 months loved running around in the enclosed field around the lodge, and the owner kindly lent us a little push along tractor to play with.
Had a lovely time and would go back again (though would take a mattress topper for uncomfortable double bed!), as it was so peaceful, and excellent location for seeing things - Stonehenge, Bowood House, Salisbury etc.
Lovely lodge in very peaceful surroundings (only 3 lodges at this location). Close proximity to many National Trust properties.
