Originally part of a country house, this second floor holiday apartment is situated on the beach with panoramic views over the sea and coastline towards Hastings and Eastbourne. Pevensey is full of 1066 history, with its castle and the first Norman church to be built. Eastbourne, with all its leisure, shopping and eating facilities, is 5 miles away. Battle, Hastings, Rye and Brighton are all within easy reach. Ideal for long, relaxing walks. Pub on beach 200 yards.

Good points: great location, nice balcony, comfy sofa with a great view of sea. Bad points: lots of unnecessary clutter in kitchen cupboards and poorly laid out kitchen with no workspace. A drawer full of knives but none of them sharp and 12 shot glasses for example! Bed was enormous but far too big for the room as there was only a tiny gap about a foot wide to squeeze around it to get to balcony so our shins suffered.
Wow! Amazing views from the balcony and window seat.
Apartment is very modern and was spotlessly clean upon arrival.
Local village only five minutes walk away; all required shops etc there.
Third stay at coast lodge, a great place to stay
A very comfortable well equipped flat. One of the best we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a few. It is in a peaceful spot with lovely beach views and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The weather was warm enough at the end of our week to have breakfast on the balcony an added bonus. There are several good eating places within a short walk and very reasonably priced. It was our first visit and we loved it so much we have already booked for next year. It was a really good find.
Our second stay here, just as good as the first. Great location on the beach and within easy walking distance of the town centre where you can find shops, cafes and restaurants. Cottage is always very well maintained with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing break.
A lovely flat in great location overlooking Pevensey Bay. Eastbourne,Bexill and Hastings all close. Beachy Head a short drive and Rye was very interesting. Dungeness well worth a visit and a great pub there.
A lovely well kept, clean, comfortable flat situated on the beach. Fantastic beach view from bedroom and living room. Highly recommend for couples.
A good flat,lots of space,good view out to sea and field's to the rear.Tv DVD player dvds books maps,lots of information about the area. 20 minutes walk to the train station, so you can get to Brighton and Eastbourne,not many train's ,saves driving parking check time table. Nice walk down to the harbour,restaurant's shops ect,pub 10 minutes walk does good food at a very good price.Overall good place to stay and relax.

Location is everything. Worth the two flights of stairs with dodgy knees to see the view! Being right on the beach and south facing is fantastic and what makes this flat so special. Wild and wonderful waves, beautiful sunrise and spectacular sunsets when weather allowed. Extra touches, wine, fruit and flowers much appreciated. Big comfy bed but makes the bedroom small and easy to bash shins on the end when coming in from the balcony.

Everything you need within walking distance.

Our second time and we will come back. Lovely views, peacefull surroundings. Lots of possibillities in the area.
Great flat, love the new window seat in the lounge but a light above would be very useful. The lounge space could be put to better use - only half of it is used because the other half is separated by the wall of the sofa. Overall a lovely flat with wonderful views, but it would benefit from a few changes - A light in the bedroom over the dressing table, a single comfy chair to watch the TV - there was one when we last stayed. Better organisation of the lounge. Dishwasher was a great enhancement.
We had a lovely stay at coast lodge. It is well equipped with everything you could need.
A few things are a little dated and in need of repair / replacing such as the freezer door, utensils rack, table and chairs outside ....however these are really small snags for the purposes of feedback.
It’s a lovely relaxing flat with a beautiful view that allows you to unwind and soak up the calming atmosphere of the place.
