Blackawton is a delightful Devon village with a community shop, historic church and popular dog friendly village inn where you can enjoy an evening meal or take advantage of their take away meal option. It is also the location for annual Worm Charming Festival, a unique event and fun for the whole family.
The property is surrounded by the beautiful South Hams’ countryside, wonderful beaches and the 630-mile breathtaking South West Coastal Path. Just a 10-minute drive from the coast where there are popular beaches, such as Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands and Torcross along with many little coves. If it’s the waves you’re searching for, Bantham and Challaborough are renowned for surfing and windsurfing and nearby Bigbury has a surf school. Woodlands Family Theme Park is a must for family fun with rides, activities and petting farm and is just 1 mile away. Splashdown Water Park Quaywest is also a great day out for the family, and is the UK’s largest outdoor water park, located on Goodrington Sands beach near Paignton and has eight water slides, small splash pools for youngsters and a swimming pool.
