    A lovely old cottage in the centre of Blythburgh. Well equipped and comfortable in a quiet situation with access to some fine walks. Just watch your head, some of the doorways are low.

    Faultless. Spotlessly clean, well-equipped, lovely spot from which to visit places of interest. Only holiday cottage i have found where my dog is secure!! Walks from the doorstep, along abandoned Southwold railway, beside river Blyth. Friendly locals. Planning my 4th and 5th visit next year.

    No garden furniture that could be used half broken and rest rusty. Bbq was dirty. Old furniture in lounge. Beautiful cottage though and position was lovely

    Stayed at this cottage back in 2013. Loved it then and loved it this visit. All furniture looked the same 4 years on. Would have liked to have seen different sofas in the lounge as they aren’t particularly comfortable. Will return though.

    Some criticisms. The stairs are described as steep but they could be better described as to give warning to the frail or obese. There were no scissors, or at least if they were they had been carefully hidden. The television reception on freeview was pretty useless, better instructions could be given as to how to get BBC iplayer etc. Visitor information could be improved. But don't despair. There were two good teapots and an excellent selection of spoons. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

    1 Church Farm is a delightful, characterful cottage, and made a great base for exploring the local area. It is good that you can walk from the cottage too. We had a very enjoyable week's stay here.

    Lovely cottage. You need to travel a few miles to the nearest shop and the pub is on the other side of a very busy road but apart from that would highly recommend.

    Cottage is a lovely location, perfect for exploring other areas. Kitchen pretty well equipped. Great big pantry but very little storage space for food. Lovely sunny garden. My only complaint is the main (largest) bedroom has twin beds, the two other bedrooms have double beds, both against a wall, not very practical. The cottage can sleep up to six people but only adequate seating in the lounge for 4 people. Would I book this cottage again, yes, we really enjoyed our stay in Blythburgh.
