With 2 Stonedelph Cottage (opposite, also available to book on our website) as the only neighbour nearby, and surrounded by woodland and pastures this truly is an escape from city life.
The stylishly designed living space presents a wealth of original features of this 18th Century cottage; it is perfect for cosy nights in with the log burner to keep you toasty. A secluded chair set back into the wall creates an ideal place to snuggle up and read your favourite book. The French doors stream light into the sitting room, opening up onto the patio and enclosed garden space. Upstairs there are two comfortably-sized bedrooms, with a modern twist on a traditionally designed bathroom. All furnishings are picked perfectly for each room giving a high standard of finish to the cottage.
1 Stonedelph is in a fantastically poised location; Bolney Wine Estate is just up the road which would suit all discerning connoisseurs. If you don’t wish to venture too far from this beautiful cottage, the local pub is within walking distance. With a myriad of walks and countryside to explore from the doorstep, be sure to bring the dog for this walkers’ dream.
There is a tennis court 250 metres from the cottage, available free of charge (a basketball hoop, rackets and balls are also provided); please note this is shared with the other holiday cottages on the estate and use is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also a communal games room 300 metres away with a pool table and table tennis.
