A comfortable cottage with fantastic views. There are only a few small niggles the owners could address. The kitchen hot tap still only dribbles. The back door is very stiff and difficult to open from the inside. The lack of WiFi will be inconvenient for some people. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay. The cottage is comfortable and clean and the views delight at every turn. Pl

Cottage generally well-equipped, but, kitchen mixer tap needed a serious service - taps both very stiff to operate, and flow from hot almost non-existent. One of three light bulbs in kitchen not working and torch batteries nearly flat. Lighting in lounge was not good enough to read by. Bedroom wardrobe door was sticking. Bathroom basin plug very difficult to operate.

Situation was lovely, few issues within the cottage, taps. kitchen ones not working properly, very difficult to turn on and hot tap barely a trickle, bathroom taps turn on/off the wrong way. Top oven didn't work, and towel rail in bathroom very noisy when on.

Because of the weather our only criticism was the heating we were not warm enough.after being out all day took a while to heat up after lighting the coal fire. By time we were warm we were ready for bed.

Lovely comfortably cottage in a beautiful setting. Only a couple of minor problems, the hot water tap in the kitchen was just a trickle and really needs to be looked at and the toilet seat was not the correct size and had a tendency to slide to one side which could result in someone slipping off it. Perhaps clearer instructions re bins being emptied, as we put it out re-request on chalk board but it was not emptied, maybe if one was told exactly where to site the bin it would be helpful. Some updated info re places to eat would be helpful. Other than that it was a cozy, well maintained cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our week there.

A great cottage in a fantastic position! Warm and cosy - didn't need to light the fire, much to my disappointment! A great base for getting around Wensleydale and not far at all to Swaledale. Only two 'issues'/suggestions: I personally found releasing the plug unit in the bathroom really difficult (could be just me!) I didn't ring the office as it was hardly an emergency. Also a handrail to the front door would be good - my mother found the steps rather steep. And it would have been good to have a visitor's book (there might be one, but I couldn't find it, but I didn't search for one either).

Lovely comfortable cottage in a great location. Very close to the falls and walking distance to a great pub. Ideal base for exploring North Yorkshire.

Situated with a lovely view and near to some good walks. Top place and thinking of coming back for our honeymoon next year.

Nice clean well equipped cottage. Close to the Aysgarh Falls, also a local hotel some 100 yards away serving excellent meals. Tourist attractions and dales towns and villages short drives away. All in all anice place to stay and enjoy the dales.
