Residents’ car park. Please note There are some steep paths in the garden leading from the car park to the cottage. There is a steep bank at the property with no handrail. Please note No children under 2 years old.\n\n Situated in an elevated position with stunning views toward Lingmoor Fell and The Langdale Pikes. 10 Fir Garth is in the heart of the Lake District in the renowned Great Langdale valley. The interior has been cleverly designed to make the most of the space and features the hallway even doubles up as a drying room for boots and waterproofs at the end of a days walking in the hills. South facing shared gardens with a private patio enables you to eat relax and enjoy the fabulous view as the sun goes down. The patio is a perfect haven for keen birdwatchers. Langdale Spa is situated just a few minutes drive from the 10 Fir Garth here you can make the most of the 20m swimming pool gym and sauna - the perfect place to relax after a day out on the fells There are so many walking hiking and climbing opportunities straight from the door that you could take a different route everyday for weeks without the need to get in a car. If you are looking for a more relaxing holiday it is a 5 minute stroll to the well stocked village shop Brambles Cafe or Wainwright’s Inn. A slightly further walk will get you to Elterwater and The Langdale spa or further friendly pubs. Shop pub and restaurant ½ mile.     Lovely comfortable if compact cottage very well equipped. Lots of walks from the door. Pub and local shop within walking distance. Would benefit from kitchen steps as cupboards quite high and things difficult to reach. Heating efficient and the option to boost as often as needed. Would definitely visit again.

    This is a great place to stay if you love walking. The kitchen was well equipped. The property was just about big enough for 2 adults and 2 small kids. The free pass to the pool at the Langdale Hotel was a great addition to our stay. I would highly recommend this place if you are 1/2 adults with a dog(s). As a family with no pets we could smell the odour of previous dogs each time we came back to the cottage.
