The cabin sleeps four adults, with one double bedroom and one kingsize bedroom, plus a bunk room for children only. There’s also a lovely shower room with high quality thick cotton towels to dry off with. There is plenty of light flooding in, thanks to all the glass windows from the rear of the property. You can sit and enjoy overlooking the garden and the stunning views out towards The Mach Loop. The Mach Loop is a series of valleys, an area famous for low-level training for military aircraft, it’s incredible to see them flying through. In the warmer months, dine al fresco. Have a barbecue and enjoy meals on the 6-seater picnic bench. Then, chill out with a beer and gaze at the stars on a clear night. For a cosy evening indoors, put the phones away and opt for a fun night in of board games.
Spend your time exploring the spectacular outdoors here. Lovely walks are on your doorstep, or you can venture further afield to Aberdovey Beach only 20-25 minutes’ drive away. For the adventure seekers, Dyfi Bike Park is a must visit, based in the Esgair Forest three miles north of Machynlleth. It’s full of exciting bike tracks and trails keeping an adrenaline junky happy. Another great activity in the area is Dyfi Osprey Project, at just 190m from the osprey nest it provides superb viewing opportunities and is a wonderful place just to soak up the 360° panoramic views of the Dyfi Valley and grab a nice coffee and a piece of cake from the café. There are half a dozen fabulous restaurants to try in the local area, booking is a must during busy months. Otherwise, there’s some great takeaways, ice cream parlours and independent shops within Machynlleth, Aberdovey and Tywyn. Or if you would like to venture even further Aberystwyth, Barmouth and Portmeirion are lovely places to visit for a day trip!
