No smoking.\n\n 1¾ Denwick View is a charming single-storey annex to the owners’ home situated in a quiet mature residential area on the fringe of the historic market town of Alnwick. The property has been immaculately presented and tastefully furnished throughout with much thought care and attention to detail. There are patio doors from the living room and bedroom which lead to the rear garden and for those cooler evenings there is a cosy modern electric fire in the living room. The lovely private sitting-out area looking onto the shared garden is south-facing and is a tranquil spot to dine al fresco and listen to the birdsong.\nThe cottage owners who live adjacent have an ‘open studio’ where they create pictures wishsticks coasters angels eco-planters and suncatchers using Angelina Fibres and merino wool tops. Guests are not only able to visit the studio but can also arrange mini workshops during their stay to be guided in the creation of their own unique masterpiece which they will be able to take away encased in glass. Mini workshops can be arranged most days including evenings so as to not interrupt their other adventures whilst on holiday. There is also a small selection of eight other local artisans work.\nPerfectly located in Alnwick you will find a wide array of amenities including a cinemaplayhouse restaurants independent shops and a variety of pubs. Alnwick Castle home to the Duke of Northumberland and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts – hence the quirky reference to this property’s name is a popular visitor attraction. Alnwick Gardens a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including a grand cascade waterfall and poison garden where guests can dine in the restaurant of the largest tree house in Europe is within a very short drive away.     Excellent and attentive hosts. A very well equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, cafetière, kettle, fridge, freezer, radio, etc. Great modern electric shower. Highly recommend.

    The cottage is very well equipped and you are provided with a very well stocked kitchen meaning you don’t have to go shopping straight away. It’s well located, only a short walk to the centre of Alnwick, the owners are very helpful and available to help if needed but otherwise leave you to yourself.

    We were happy everything. Becky and Ivor (and their staffie, Red) made us very welcome. We were so pleased to be able to relax on the first holiday with our puppy in a very dog friendly situation. Lovely location nearby all our favourite places!

    The cottage owners could not have done more to make us and our dogs welcome and comfortable. Very well equipped accommodation and within easy walking distance of the great amenities in Alnwick. Well located for exploring all corners of Northumberland. Would definitely recommend this cottage and would return.

    Lovely place to stay - owners were brilliant with me and my stroppy dog. Even tho' beach is 4 miles away parking at Alnmouth (right next to the beach) is only £2 per day. Skip Bamburgh and Bednell visit this part of Northumberland and don't miss Cragside

    Overall excellent accommodation with an easy to use shower and comfortable bed. The owners were very welcoming and left us with a comprehensive welcoming basket of goodies leaving us with hardly any shopping to do all week.

    In the words of Tina Turner SIMPLY THE BEST . Becky and Ivor simply could not have done anything else to make our holiday one of the most enjoyable experience and restful ever. Their friendly little Staffie RED was loads of fun missing him already. My wife and I had a go @ ther arts and craft business and brought back a wonderful couple of items that we will cherish forever. Thank You Ivor and BECKY. Christine Billy and Angus ( our border collie )

    The Bungalow was perfect for our 2 week stay. Lots of info available in the bungalow, great welcome pack, lots of basics in the cupboards, they really thought of everything to enhance our stay. On arrival we found the bungalow to be spacious and spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Becky and Ivor were very helpful, our dog Judy love playing in the big garden, she made friends with Red their staffie puppy who is soft as a brush. We would not hesitate to highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed.
