    Bedroom 1: With double bed.
    Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
    Bathroom: With bath, shower and WC.

    All electric, bed linen and towels included.

    Shared garden and patio. Parking (1 car). No smoking.

    21 The Beach is a first floor duplex apartment with the kitchen and lounge on the lower level and stairs leading to the upper floor where there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Situated right on the seafront in the beautiful family resort of Filey, you can’t get a better position and with the added bonus of a parking space just in front of the property, it’s also very convenient. With magnificent sea views from the large windows in the lounge, you can sit and watch the world go by.

    Filey has one of the best beaches down the east coast with miles of wide open sandy beach frequently used by the horse riders in the winter to gallop through the waves. For those who love hiking, the Cleveland Way finishes in Filey. Try the walk in reverse along the rugged clifftops with spectacular views out to sea. Stop at some of the little coves along the way. Scarborough and Whitby lie north of Filey and to the south is the traditional seaside resort of Bridlington. The RSPB bird sanctuary is just along the road at Bempton where you will see puffins in their natural habitat. Filey is a perfect base to see the North Yorkshire Moors, the Wolds, the coast and not forgetting the historic city of York which is only an hours’ drive away.

    Kitchen facilities and hot water all good but blinds in bedroom not fit for purpose and one nearly came off. Stains on carpets worried me sufficiently to report to owner as concerned she would think my dog had done it! Whole place apart from kitchen a little “tired” looking. Filey and view as always brilliant!

    Central position great and easy access to shops and places to eat in the town. Private parking. We are reasonably fit of the older generation but we found 2 lots of stairs too much. Ideal for younger people. A few rough edges in the flat ( needs decorating )and carpet on stairs in poor state. Bedding bathroom clean. Blind in front bedroom kept falling to pieces every time you used it so that needs replacing. On the whole a fairly basic standard flat. Couldn't fault the position for views of the bay.

    We enjoyed our holiday, and so did the dog. Ideal situation, great views, and the bonus of good weather. I marked it down because of the small things that needed to be put right eg. tele did not work, but we got by without it because it allowed us to spend time reading without the distraction ot the tele. Light bulbs not working, at a small price the seating could be more comfortable, a brighter lighting in the main room would have helped our reading during the evenings. The dishwasher not emptied and some of the items dirty, no toilet paper, These small petty things can make a differance. At the end of the day would we go back- Yes!

    Does need a lot of simple jobs doing and a new stair carpet which is threadbare. Great location though and comfortable enough. Steep stairs so not for the disabled or hard of walking.

    Would def stay again. Home from home. 2 things I would address 1 being some security lighting at the front of the property as its very dark and there are several steps and 2 there is a hill up to the town which maybe a problem for some. We had a great time. Many thanks 👍

    2nd stay here with our two dogs and love the place! No its not luxurious but its comfortable and clean, yes there are area which could do with upgrading ie stairs carpet but you will not find a more value for money sea front location with parking and added bonus of WiFi this time will be there again next year!

    We normally stay in the centre of town but the people we rent from have since retired and this is our first time staying down at the beach. Considering that this property accepts pets there was absolutely no trace that there had been any as the apartment was spotless. Overall we were very happy to stay there as it had everything that you would need to live and cook etc whilst on holiday. The only thing that I would say is that there are 3 parking spaces at the front of the property, with two of them for this property and the one next door in the same building. During our stay the other property was vacant but I would imagine that it would be quite tight to reverse two cars in if you happened to have a large family saloon or similar. There is free on street parking but you do have to get there early or just be lucky as it does fill up quickly due to its location next to the beach.

    The location is amazing and we loved the views. The kitchen was gorgeous and having a washing machine was brill, loved the garden and hanging out our towels to the sound of seagulls and sea! Only downside was that some parts of the house were really in need of attention, badly worn carpets and ridiculous blinds that were unusable in main bedroom were really poor and it smelt of dog. Got the feeling the house deserved to be looked after and to be in better general condition. The landing walking up to the apartment was quite shabby with a bare bulb outside the door giving a bad first impression.
