    This property is well situated for all amenities. There is a Spar shop across from the property and an excellent café (Galloway Lodge). The town is served by four good restaurants .The main car park is close by and is the starting point for several local walks. There are also several places of interest which can be visited by car. The area is very popular for "Dark Sky" activities. The owners Phil and Wendy live close by and are a mine of local knowledge which we found most useful.

    Excellent base for seeing lots of Dumfries and Galloway with plenty of pubs in which to eat although the kitchen is well equipped for eating in the flat. Spar grocer next door.
