Welcome pack. Enclosed courtyard with sitting-out area and BBQ. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note Couples and family bookings only.\n Located in what was once the playground of the old Padstow School dating back to 1876 this spacious and comfortable holiday home with its own private parking and private enclosed courtyard 9 Old School Court is the perfect peaceful house to enjoy this stunning coastal town. A short stroll will bring you to the centre of this Cornish fishing town and all that it offers from a working harbour to the foodie empire of TV chef Rick Stein and the Michelin starred restaurant No 5.\nPadstow’s narrow streets lined with cafés local shops bars and restaurants all gravitate to the pretty little harbour where you can rest up and enjoy a Cornish ice cream or pasty while watching the boats set sail. You can also book a fishing trip and try to catch the evening’s supper for the BBQ back at the house.\nThe Camel Trail is close by a multi-use flat trail which used to be a railway to the town but is now the perfect route to cycling walking or horse riding along the banks of the River Camel a wild bird haven that flows inland. Venture inland to Wadebridge and onward to Bodmin for lunch and a pint or a cream tea in one of the many cafés. Don’t worry about the bikes there are many bike hire shops in Padstow. A favourite is to ride to Wadebridge and back and enjoy fish and chips from Rick Steins restaurant on the quayside.\nA ferry crosses the mouth of the estuary on which Padstow sits to the pretty little village of Rock. The beaches of Daymer Bay and Polzeath are well worth a visit as is the church in the dunes the final resting place of Sir John Betjeman the former poet laureate.\nPadstow is surrounded by world class golf courses from Trevose to St Enedoc and the Point at Polzeath a golfer’s paradise. For the water sports enthusiasts look no further than the excellent surfing beaches of Harlyn Bay to Polzeath and nearby Newquay to the gentle pastime of kayaking and stand up paddle boarding to wake boarding and water skiing you can take part in them all just minutes from this delightful holiday home in the ideal location. Horse riding coastal walks and sailing are all available nearby. Beach ½ mile. Shop and pub 400 yards restaurant 150 yards. \n " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/106/840/10619293.jpg UKC3768

The second bedroom was too small for the two single beds and restricted ones movement. I am a small person and I found it difficult to move. Good ness how two teenagers would have fared. Storage space was limited in the third bedroom. It appeared to me that beds had been squeezed into the smaller two rooms in order to maximise an asking price for the property. The welcome pack was very sparse in comparison to those I have received in past properties. The garden paved and more like a backyard with no character

Lovely cottage, well placed near to centre of Padstow. Comfortable, all the basics included although would be nice to have some cushions for sofa (just a small point I know). Will definitely come back.

Lovely cottage, but parking very tight, and twin room very tight beds with very little space to move between. Very well equipped kitchen, lovely big bathroom and overall a really cost place to stay.

A lovely house in a beautiful location. The house was immaculate with everything we needed to enjoy a great holiday. It’s a nice walk into the bustling harbour area with a lovely selection of pubs, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!
